@ED PARKER TBH I haven't worked on it since about a month ago when I moved back up north. I'm picking it up in a few weeks with all of my other stuff. I've upgraded my phone storage so should be able to post a couple videos that I've had sitting for a while though.

My boot lid and numberplate was the hardest thing to stop rattling. Lots of tril and error. Are you going to go with a sub box centre mount following the line of the bucket seat. You'll need two seats in to get that right. Or is there box room behind the seat?. I doubt it haha. Where would you mount the 6 by 9s. I almost thing the back of the door card and the split ones at the front. Would be a busy door, but that's seemingly what you have to work with.

Theres probably a lot of things that you can do to stop it. I'm thinking I might mount the subs externally underneath the tray deck and plumb the ports into the cab. Theres minmal space behind the seats hence why I think the 6x9's would be best suited in there somewhere?. Im going to put the component speakers either under the dash or in the doors as the holes are there.

@@nzotisThats not a bad idea. They'd need to be seal well so no water can get inside them and ruin them.

@@AdamNZ so a sealed box with a split level that has a small port between the compartments for back pressure issues and then a port to cab. It's the only way I can imagine it to work. Oooo actually the rear and front can be separate and have separate ports right. I mean most ports come from the rear action of the sub I'm a box environment

Jbl amp, cerwin vega subs, pioneer 7x10s, pioneer 6inch splits and run with a pioneer mosfet head unit 60wx4. I installed and removed this set up from at least 5 cars. Now I'm old and slightly hard of hearing

Man if I had more funds I’d get a better setup. I’ve always been against fitting subs and stuff to my vehicles because of weight but chilled out a bit as I’ve gotten older. My van needs all this stuff now.

@@muffpaddy always wanted something like that. They go pretty hard with the V6. I briefly owned a red surf that was bodied and bagged but never got the chance to drive it. Mate spent 60K on it.

@Adrian Herrera eventually Bro. I’ll definitely be going all out. It’s just a bit hard at the moment because I’m focused on the 180SX. The Hilux will be getting panel and painted soon so that’s going to cost a bit.
