The power steering pulley/crank pulley rib difference is no issue - just run a 3pk belt and you'll be fine! Cool to see some vids again from you.

Yeah, I don’t see it being a big problem. Although I know that between the nonturbo and turbo models they had one line or row difference. Life and work has always been a problem. That’s why I haven’t been posting as many videos as I usually would. I have got a couple ones that I’m working on at the moment across the other vehicle that I own. Hopefully they do better.

Yeah, I’m trying to get back into it. I got a lot of project cars and don’t have a whole lot of money to finish them all so I’m going to see if I can grow the channel and get some of the followers to help pay for some of the things that I need. I saw lots of cool cars when I was down there and also when I was living in Dunedin, but I never really got out that much as I was too busy most of the time. But I will be coming back but only need to take the car back up north to see my best friend who lives in Christchurch.

Hey Bro, cars been stuck in the South Island ever since I moved. I’ve been back to grab stuff from the storage unit and have started retrofitting it into my EK Civic. It’s almost done and I’ll be testing it soon. Learnt a lot from doing it to the Civic.

@huntergill4945 you actually can use them but have extra things to block up. I know Hans Ruiterman has adapted the VCT onto the VE Head. They weld them on.

Not yet. Been waiting almost a year to get my engine finished off. Called them this morning and they’re going to do the shims for me soon and degree everything. I’m also waiting for these guys to fix some welds I did on the 180SX but should all come together very soon.

@@AdamNZ Do you know if you need to clearance the internal valve cover “ribs”? I bought a used p11 valve cover and it had had the internal ribs for the valve cover in that area ground down, which I assumed was to clearance the metal arm you attach to the cam gear for the sensor.

@M Wall I’m going to re-assemble the engine all together after the next video is uploaded. It’s a bit of a process with degreeing the camshafts and didn’t want it to be super long. But the next video will be either episode 2 or I’ll re-upload this one with the extra content?

Did you have to remove the oil squirters from the det block to fit the pistons? Maybe we are better to start with the DE blocks. Quite a lot of detail in your content, great stuff.

@Tim Bush Hey Bro, yeah mine were removed for this. I only used the turbo blocks because it was an old engine that I had. Ideally you’d use a mint NA block for this kinda conversion. Thanks man, will have a fully detailed build video coming up soon.
