It’s finally here! The longest-lived tropical cyclone ever recorded along with breaking multiple records such as accumulated cyclone energy, the most separate rounds of rapid intensification, along with being one of four tropical cyclones to cross the entire Southwest Indian Ocean along with likely being a once in a lifetime event. Despite these records and its appearance, this system will go down as one of the most catastrophic and deadliest storms in the Southern Hemisphere, with its impacts will likely be remembered for generations. I really hope you all enjoy this animation that was worked on with a lot of detail and care put into this animation. I think this video will be well worth the wait. I think you will all really like the result of this animation.

There is John 1994, Leon-Eline 2000, and Ioke 2006, and others that are memorable for their intensity and longevity... Though chances are we either are not aware of them (if anyone's alive back in the 90s), or are not born yet. Which is why... Freddy will be (both notoriously and memorably) remembered not just in the SWIO, but for the world.

Words alone cannot describe how devastating, deadly, record-breaking, and notorious Freddy is while we are presented with new features Blackbelt added that other animations highly lack, even that of ATL 2005 V5, 2022 WPAC, and a few others. Freddy will be the main highlight for the SHEM seasons, while being also one of the highlights for the 2023 worldwide season. As the SHEM seasons ended a while ago, we now have to go through the NHEM seasons, who knows what we'll have, it might be crazy... Only time will tell... As of August 2023, we now have: over 30 named storms, 23 cyclones, 13 majors, and 5 C5s, including Freddy. This also includes active storms as of present.

Guys, it's here. The track animation of probably one of the most infamous cyclones in the Southern Hemisphere. Freddy was a storm of a lifetime. It feels like three or four storms compacted into one with its incredible duration and very high ACE count, but these are secondary matters compared to the fact it was a destructive disaster, especially for Malawi. In more ways than one, Freddy will be a cyclone that we will be talking about for decades to come.

Ah yes, Freddy. A storm that combined both John and Ioke but with a bit of some adjustment it made. This storm shows us that climate change is happening, and it's getting worse. And stop saying the FNAF jokes this storm was serious. It killed over 1k ppl and is the third costliest storm in the Southwest Indian Ocean. Malawi was more affected by Freddy due to rainfall and the Cholera Outbreak. You see why humanity is cruel?

Ah yes, Freddy... The odd cyclone in February-March 2023. It all began in AUST, then turned west and continued to do so until in the western SWIO... We all made some fun and games with this until Freddy became a devastating and deadly cyclone for the SWIO. Mozambique and Malawi got the worst of it, with Madagascar being hit again after Cheneso struck not even over TWO months before this... Freddy will remain a memorable cyclone in the SHEM and for the world for years to come... Why's that? Well we all knew what happened when Freddy is determined to challenge and break records, ONE after ANOTHER after ANOTHER after ANOTHER. All the jokes aside, Freddy unfortunately became the worst cyclone in the SWIO since Idai. Matters worse, some areas (especially Mozambique and Malawi) ARE the same areas Idai (and various other cyclones afterwards) had effected years earlier! So far, Freddy remains the deadliest cyclone worldwide in 2023, and the 1st C5 in the world this year, which Kevin, Ilsa, Mocha, and Mawar had attained later on as of August 2023. On a side note though, has there been a AUST name being retired due to impacts outside of BOM's responsibility area? If there is, I am 100% certain that Freddy WILL BE gone. I (or we) will never forget this storm, it is unlike what we have ever seen in YEARS. Sure, there is John 1994 and Ioke 2006, but chances are we are either unaware of it or are not even born yet when they existed.

I think this video's description and this community is underestimating how much Freddy impacted Malawi. While Freddy is very unique cyclone, it also brought a major disaster. Like, this storm brought catastrophic mudflow that buried hundreds of people and trapped survivors to dig the mudflow by hand, even the army had to get involved to help them and recover bodies within the mud.

At this time I was in my hometown(karratha)with my family and then I saw the cyclone on TV and I didn't react since cyclones happen so often in karratha. Not even a Catorgory 4 ripped our roof off because they build houses cyclone proof since so many cyclones hit. since karratha has basically nothing except trees,red dirt and couple of houses and one shopping mall nothing is dangerous except for storm surge that rarely happens. There's literally no debris after a cyclone in karratha.
