2013 Pacific Typhoon Season Animation v.2

Animation of the 2013 Pacific Typhoon Season, which featured several prominent typhoons. The worst storms were Typhoon Fitow, which remains the costliest typhoon on record to date. Late in the season, Typhoon Haiyan blasted through the central Philippine islands as one of the strongest landfalling storms on record.
Typhoons Francisco and Lekima also reached Category 5 strength in 2013, whilst Soulik struck Taiwan after earlier peaking at Category 4 status.
