My time is almost up and that's good. I can't see things right in front of me but I do see things that aren't there. A life time of Hank Sr. Cash, George Jones, Haggard Waylon, Willie leaves me unable to appreciate the newer stuff. Don't be mad at me, I ain't got long to live.

Jamie Oldaker died at age 68. RIP Sir. He had a long list of credits including Clapton, Frampton, Bob Seger, Ace Frehley, Leon Russell and Stephen Stills,... Clapton said that defining Oldaker’s music style was “easy.” “To begin with, it’s his sound. He has the best snare sound I’ve ever heard, he has the best restrained fills I’ve ever heard, and his bass drum is as solid as rock. He is unique, and the pocket is always perfect. The kind of man he is matches his drums.”

90s country was the best. It’s when it combined with blues, jazz, and rock but retained the country melodies and stories. Takes me back to listening to Cleveland’s WGAR 99.5 with my Dad in his 1985 Buick Regal going to Indians games when they won the AL Central every year.

I have not heard this song since like 2005 and this video always lived faintly in my head. Now that I’m listening to it, everything is coming back

It's too bad that three of the five members are no longer around. The only two members left still living and still playing music to this day are Casey (bass) and Walt (piano).

What the hell happened to country music anyway. I'm 46 and loved the music back then but didn't realize it would end like it did.

I remember one of my friends saying that the lead singer looks like Mark Knopfler. I listened to this song and then watched the video and I had to agree. Definitely very talented band. I had the album (don't know what happened to it....sadly) but I loved certain songs on the album. Like "Thirty Days". Anyway, love the song!!! Thanks for posting.

This is the first “normal” song I remember hearing in my life, outside of children’s songs like “Row Row Row Your Boat.” I was just six years old. It’s what first turned me onto country music, even though it’s more like country blues.
