Great video, and yeah I'm of the mind that the tragic aspect of his origin as a villain should have been played up more during Cataclysm, i.e moments of lucidity, sparks of the Earth-Warder struggling to break through before N'Zoth clamps back down. He still needed to be stopped but you know, pathos and all that.

Yeah, I think it's one of those times where you didn't really see much of it at all in Cataclysm, except from other characters pointing it out. I'm glad they're touching it more lately through the likes of Wrathion or other characters.

He kind of did have an opportunity to keep from turning. He could have told the others what was going on and about the voices whispering to him. Although whether or not they would have took him seriously or could even do anything about it is up in the air.

He very well could have. But it's very likely he was worried they would ostracize him or maybe he didn't think it was that big of a deal till it was too late. I have a personal theory that the Incarnates are basically what convinced him to not talk about it as Iridikron relied on the Old Gods which resulted is his own imprisonment. Maybe Neltharion didn't want that fate either.

@@Skollshorties That could be it, but I feel like if the aspects knew about Iridikron's dealings they wouldn't have locked him up with everyone else.
