McKayla Maroney is definitely one of the greatest gymnast the USA has EVER produced. We are so lucky to have her performances in competition on film to admire for years to come. She is an absolute GODDESS in gymnastics and no one will ever come close to her level of beauty.

I’m not someone who really follows gymnastics but I will always remember her spectacular vault at the London Olympics. I couldn’t believe what I had seen and how perfect that landing was. It was incredible. Amazing.

Detoxing from Opiates only feels like death. If her father was addicted to Xanax and quit cold turkey, that is more likely to have led to his demise

That’s what I was wondering. Alcohol and benzodiazepines are the only drugs that can cause death through detoxification… sounds like there was another factor at play, or maybe a mixup

I performed with a broken toe. Which mind you at the time my mother was a registered nurse and she was addicted to alcohol and was fired for stealing morphine. Her and 2 other nurses were fired for being caught stealing morphine. I told my mother i fell off my bunk bed and my toe hit the wall as i fell and my mother did nothing when i told her. I can't tell you how painful it was after that to perform. My mother is now long gone from a fatal cocktail of alcohol, benzodiazepines, and methadone, i forgive her. I am only here to relate to Maroney to say i went through the same thing and i was also molested by my babysitter's boyfriend when i was 7 years old. And it went on for a couple of years. I hope Maroney can recover from that abuse.
