Depression is a complicated subject. Trying to explain thoughts of suicide is next to impossible to someone who has never felt this way. I used to think that it was normal and that everyone had thoughts of suicide eventually. Only through therapy have I learned that this is not true.

@The Original Surfer Bob All he does is marijuana, and shrooms. He even stopped marijuana during quarantine. Although, I don't know if he kept that up. He is doing good now. Two movies he starred in came out during quarantine. He has more movies lined up to start filming. He looks healthier and has gained weight. He is happier on Saturday Night Live now, and they are having him do characters. He is good at it. What are you really mad about?

@The Original Surfer Bob I saw a picture of him when he was 7 on his sister's instagram. She had her arm around his shoulder. It was a tribute to him for his birthday. He had pronounced dark circles even then. It is annoying when people assume it is because of heroin. My own brother had genetic dark circles, and had them even when he was little.

@The Original Surfer Bob he’s been through more than you could ever imagine, don’t judge somebody unless you have been through what they have been through. It’s clear that you don’t understand depression and what it can do to you, he’s been through a lot and is making it out. The way I see it, he’s an inspiration, i see him as someone who has been through so much hard stuff, and survived it. He’s very strong and is a huge inspiration to me. But take that as what you will, you don’t have to listen to me

@user-ox2il1nh9v
@user-ox2il1nh9v 3 жыл бұрын
@@julesdwill It is not for attention. He doesn't have social media most of the time. He doesn't like parties, and usually doesn't even come out on stage on SNL after the end credits. When he made the statement hinting about suicide, it was after the breakup with Ariana. Her fans were harassing him on social media. He had Instagram at the time. Also, most of the celebrity gossip and tabloid media were being extremely negative and biased against him, and in favor of Ariana. He was only about 24 at the time of the breakup, and her fans and internet trolls were insulting him, and telling him to kill himself. His goal is actually to direct movies. He just figures that he has to act in movies a few more years in order to have the credibility to get to that goal.

These people are directed to do what they do. They don't do anything by themselves. This boy has more help and coverage than ten ordinary working people. I understand this ailment too. Yea an ailment not disease. A disease is something you can give someone. U don't have that. Managing is not easy but can be done. Ginger helps soothe your intestines as well as mint peppermint etc. Lots of rest no excessive stress. And if someone has the nerve to say something stupid always have a comeback. The you look dead response is oh yeah? You must know cause u look the same or my favorite shut the hell up. Thank you and walk away. Being Black I have been racially looked at and have a comeback too. I smile and if someone says something nasty I say thank God I'm not you and walk off. Anyway the point being we can't control what comes out of stupid people's mouth but we can control how we take it (who cares) or make it ruin our day.. Nope not today or ever. You take care be happy and stay safe. Much 💕 paula

word of advice: never call any number, any talk line, anything, no posting online and tell them you are thinking of suicide. Suicide hotline? I would not use my own phone, use a burner with GPS off. You will, have cops, Baker Act, involuntary hospitalization, which can eventually morph into a conservatorship and you will lose the ability to control your life and finances and become a ward of something other than yourself. Just remember, whatever you are going through now, no storm lasts forever.

For years I couldn't stand Pete but after watching this I have a new found respect for him. I have Bipolar and BPD and I know how he feels. I think he's brave. Very brave and honest.

You can’t have both bipolar AND BPD I’m not saying to be an asshole it’s just purely because of why BPD is known as borderline is because it’s between bipolar and schizophrenia, people with bipolar suffer long periods of manic lows and manic highs people with BPD can suffer multiple episodes of both in a day, it took for me being misdiagnosed for three years for me to able to learn that :)

I liked him on SNL before he got so famous and recognized on there. We live you here in Tennessee, Pete. People like me need you. Things might not aways go so great especially when you are young. Hang around and see just how important you will be to others in life. You get thru and it will be worth it. Stay ok,...

Not sure why this is news. Lots of people lost their lives that day and alot of people have serious mental problems after going through such a tragic situation. I myself would seek help after going through something like that. Petes dad is a damn hero. I wish for nothing but positive vibes for Pete. He's a good dude.
