I'm sorry..but I'm really disappointed in the remarks i have read..he is interviewed about his family roots and difficulties..i find it really rude to bring up other issues..so find someone else to criticize. Like maybe yourself..😮😂😮😂

I’m sure that this whole story of Omar’s family struggle out of Uganda is incredible and heartwarming but the timing of this story is not great in light of the (firing/ousting or whatever you chose to call it ) of Lisa Laflamme … CTV & Bell media are trying to create a warm and fuzziness for the replacement

Probably they want us to warm up to him, I mean I understand why.

Stupid comment...this story aligns with the 50 anniversary of their expulsion from Uganda. You're just reading more into it. Education isn't a bad thing

@@vflytrap7158 now retired but I worked in the marketing industry for many years … ctv and bell are trying to deflect the negativity of the Lisa Laflamme firing or however they want to spin that to a feel good story on her replacement. Now don’t get me wrong the struggle of Uganda was real.

With greatest respect to Mr. Sachedina and his family, other than Omar's family, relatives, and perhaps a few co-workers who carea about someone who sits in front of a teleprompter and reads for a living. This is a puff piece for the egregious firing of Lisa LaFlamme. Shame on CTV. You pulled the same stunt on Tom Brown and Anwar Knight.
@sameerajafri7472 жыл бұрын
If you don't care about someone who sits in front of a teleprompter and reads for a living, why do you care about Lisa getting fired?

@@sameerajafri747 I don''t. I "care" about what was done to Lisa LaFlamme, and Tom Brown and Anwar Knight.

@@ericblair54 btw it doesn't bother anyone else you don't care. Lots of other people do and you don't really speak for the immigrant demographic in Canada. If you don't want to learn about Canada's history, that's your loss.

@@sameerajafri747 SM: You're missing my point. This has nothing to do with "Canada's history." You're angry. Did BELLMedia(CTV) do a special on Anwar Knight and his immigrant experience? No. Tom Brown? No. This is a Bell Media puff piece to assuage their treatment of Lias LaFlamme and the manner in which they fired her. It's BELL Media, CTV, I have my beef with, not Mr. Sachedina. YOU, you, are making this into a immigrant thing. You're outraged and blind to my subject matter. Sameera, think, would Bell Media have made this piece if not for the uproar that occurred when BELL fired LaFlamme bc of ageism?

Why is Omar back in Uganda after 50 years?
@sameerajafri7472 жыл бұрын
Probably because he is interested in his history. Education is good
