Between 1975 to 1978, the Jackson's were not doing all that great. The music the Jackson's released mainly did well on the Soul, R&B chart.......It did not have crossed over appeal. Thanks to Quincy Jones, who came to the rescue with:Of the Wall, and Thriller.

The fact that he used the money to make a burn center for burn victims literally made me cry! It was so unfair and scarred him for the rest of his life and yet he turned around and helped people. I really hope he’s in a better place because life dealt him such unfair cards. 😔

Agree! The world is cruel! The nasty media only wants ratings & money and didn’t care that they are ruining one man’s life! I miss this shy & humble man! King of Music! MJ was a game-changer in music! He dominated 80’s era and even 90’s when rivalries are a big thing! The US media tried to ruin their own national treasure by calling him names! I love this man, he was the humble one despite of success! 2023! Your music lives & dance moves lives MJ! You are indeed a gifted creation! King of Music! True Philanthropist & Humanitarian! From 5-50 years old you’ve been performing to people! He gave it all! People abuse your money, talent & kindness! Those who tried to ruin you using your LOVE for children & your looks are simply evil possessed tormenting your human being state! I will never judge you MJ coz I'm a human being, too! I thank God in Heaven for creating such a masterpiece Michael Jackson!

He did, in some way. There's an account from a cameraman of a take from him doing that 1997 Diane Sawyer interview and a lamp behind him went off and exploded by accident. January 27 1984, the day Michael Jackson was supposed to die. I can't help but think it was staged because no celebrity ever reached that height of fame. On the 6th take, the explosives were closer to him, more powerful and they went off too early. It just sounds so staged. He was so lucky to survive that. They say if he was on fire for 10 more seconds, he would've died. Like it says in the video, he was later diagnosed with vitiligo and lupus that same year. And you can tell he started struggling with vitiligo that year because he suddenly looked a lot lighter in 1984, because he was wearing light makeup to mask it. The lupus also started giving him complications with his nose, and it made him lose more hair, including his eyebrows and eyelashes, and that forced him to wear even more makeup. 1984 was when he started looking different because of all these different things that were suddenly happening to him all at once. He wasn't trying to be white. Vitiligo, lupus and the burn accident started ruining his appearance and he was trying his hardest to look as normal as possible. 1984 was really a pivotal moment in his life (Not to mention the burn accident was exactly half his life...no I am not kidding, January 27 1984 is the EXACT middle date between his birth and death. Is that just a coincidence?). It's rumored the vitiligo became worse because of the medication he was taking for the scalp pain, which he endured up until his death and often couldn't sleep because of it. This one event changed his whole entire life. Edit: He was diagnosed with vitiligo and lupus in 1986.

Fun facts about Brotman Medical - the hospital that treated MJ: - The burn unit closed just 3 years later after the 1.5 million donation from Michael Jackson - I worked at that hospital in 2015. It's now called Southern California Hospital - Culver City. That place is one of the crappiest/rundown hospitals I've ever worked at and I've worked at nearly 10 of them in the LA area. Just look at their reviews online. There is no way they are regulations compliant. Somebody higher up in the state and/or government wants them to stay open. The roof on the older building had leaks all over when it rained. They spent over a million trying to open an L&D and never managed to get it open because they can't get their shit together. Horrible place.

Unfortunately Brotman was the closest trauma center to the set location. I agree, Brotman was awful and when this first happened, I'd wished he could have been taken to Cedars instead. He could have been airlifted there. Very strange "circumstances" surrounding the whole event.

He made millions and millions and millions of people very happy with his enteretaining and his songs and music. I hope that when he met his Maker, all the sadness in his life went away. Why did so many people make such a big deal about his life..etc...Micheal Jackson left all of us wonderful memories. He may have done weird things.but haven't we all done that too? I wonder if the burns and the traumatic event could trigger his vitiligo and lupus. Maybe external and internal stress could have triggert it. Michael Jackson stated that his vitiligo started after Thriller and maybe around the time of the burns. Maybe I am just telling bullcrap but maybe it all started with the burns, the body can react under severe stress.

In Jermaine's book he wrote that Michael actually first found a white spot on his torso in his teens but it didn't start to affect the rest of his body until the 80s. Jermaine also had a white spot on his thigh that a doctor diagnosed as vitiligo but it just never spread for him. It doesn't seem that far fetched to me that the burns and the events that followed could have triggered the vitiligo to spread for Michael along with his lupus.

This event occurred January 27th, 1984. That’s 9,282 days after the day he was born. Divide 18,563/2 and you get 9,281.5. Crazy.

18,563 days sounds so short when you think about it. I remember doing some online age calculating thing a few years back and was surprised that I had only been alive for the amount of days it said ( I forget the exact number but I somehow had always thought the number would be in the higher thousands or even close to a million) when you think about the fact MJ died at age 50 and that's only over 18,000 days....? It just makes life seem even shorter than it already is. Even though 50 is still young, too young to die still the point stands. At least for me personally. It sounds like nothing, especially considering how long earth has been around.

Ok let's get this straight, his doctors said the only way to cover the spot was with his own hair, in the victory tour he covered the bald spot with his own hair, but the bald spot kept growing bigger since he had lupas to and that affects the hair and makes it fall out so basically it made the bald spot worse, so he wore a hair extension to cover it up so in the bad video he wore hair extensions to make his hair look longer, he wore extensions until 1993 and 1994 he started wearing full on lace front wigs, he wore wigs ecer since then, in his autopasy it said "the decandents hair was sparse and connected to a wig". And in the 2000 you could kinda tell he wore wigs and he suffered a reciting hairline to. What else do you guys expect he burned his hair of course hes gonna wear wigs just let this poor man rest in peace. And dont even try arguing with me I just said all of this. R.I.P MJ The King Of Pop
