Do you think that's changed that much? For instance, more than half of homicides in the USA go unsolved. Real life is not an episode of CSI. There's only so much science can do to solve murders, especially if the murder goes undetected in the first place!

George sounds like a great guy who deserved someone so much better. Christina ruthlessly set him up to be killed by Simon. Apparently, Simon too had a love for money and no desire to work for it. I don't however believe too many prosecutors in the States would have taken the case with so little circumstantial evidence. I'm certainly glad they were found guilty.

When we got married, ny husband was 24 years my senior. That made him twice my age. He was the most treasured thing in my life. I lived to please him and he me. My parents had a great marriage and it lasted until their death. But, mine was happier. We enjoyed each other's company to the point that we forced ourselves to include others. He was smart, funny, generous to a fault, demonstrative, strong, masculine... To hear of someone who has a good man and kills them for material things ... I can't understand that. You can sleep on top of a mountain of shoes... You will still be sleeping alone instead of wrapped in the arms of a man who loves you with every breath he takes.

They were sentenced to life but she was released in 2019! That's not life! Life should mean life. She was a manipulative leech who probably honed her skills in prison. I hope no one else falls into her clutches.

She will find another sucker. My son fell with a similar woman I couldn’t fathom the attraction but that was none of my business. She cleaned him out, took control of his bank accounts and cards, his phone and computer and the idiot let it all happen. The worst bit was that she was a enormous disgusting feral Eastern European pig. He looks like a model and nobody could understand it. We were all blown away she lay in MY house for 2 years in his bed for 23 hours a day 24/7 while he worked 12 hour job then worked out in the gym for two hours came home and she demanded dinner. EVERY DAY FOR TWO YEARS. It was a nightmare for me and his dad. It’s all over now but I became suicidal because of the rift she created between my son and me. He and I used to be a team and he treated me with respect but that all changed it was horrific. I still thank God on my knees everyday ( and I’m agnostic).

If you have to move somebody with bad head injuries remove the 2 head rests from your car. Put both metal end together and have 1 head rest on the head and one at the base of the neck and shoulder blades.

How do judges decide how long a life sentence should be? When sentencing defendants in murder cases, judges have five starting points to consider: a whole life tariff, 30 years, 25 years, 15 years or 12 years. A 15 year tariff is the 'usual' starting point for someone over 18 who has been sentenced to life for murder.

2003 Durham- England - George’s wife Christina Button wanted the best things in life and her favourite pastime was shopping. Simon Tunner Hill, a 20 year old young nephew of Christina also lived in the Button house. Christina was 21 years younger than George and tragedy awaited them. One night George was found by passing car driver and he was lying by the road side severely injured and died in hospital. Christina was calm and quiet.

Bring back the death penalty!!! I’m usually reserved about the victims, but George hit a nerve. He was so happy with his little girl and his new family…like the friend said “ He was like a dog with two tails ,he was that happy”. And he was determined not to die on that road, he fought to stay alive. But it was all for nought. Holy smokes that woman is supposed to be 29 or so, yet that gigantic monster looks about fifty. Edit added a sentence. Edit spelling mistake

How dumb can you be just asking if he’ll be able to speak again?! To family and nurses and Dr.s might not think anything of it. As the lady said it could easily look like your not worried he wont wake up and live, and ur worried about him being able to speak. BUT a police detective is immediately will think how odd she is only worried about him being able to speak? Must be worried he will tell who attacked him! It will be obvious to police!
