Just ask that girl that went out with he obsessive ex that ended up with 3 gunshots to her head and her body being rolled off of a cliff. If a guy is abusive, he's obviously a wimp. He can't fight so he goes and tricks a girl into a relationship so he can feel less like a wimp when he beats her up. And one important thing, you are nothing strong for dealing with someone abusive, your pathetic for staying. My mother stayed, up until the 3rd time my step-father tried killing her. She thought she was in love so much, that she wanted the person that prevented her death arrested. If the person has kids and being abused, they don't want that garbage. The kids will be happy to be away from that waste of sperm. The only person that wants to stay in that relationship is the one being abused. Signed: the 9 year old me that his mother wanted to be put in jail for stopping his step-father from killing his mother.

you’d think this is common sense but abusers literally alter your reality… i met up with my emotionally abusive ex recently and he didn’t harm me but he shared with me that he’s since moved on to getting physical with his new gf… after a very awkward conversation of me telling him that he needs to keep his hands to himself and him minimizing his actions, i’ve since decided i am never seeing that man again. i gaslit myself into thinking he wasn’t that bad but he basically announced to me that is truly is. bizarre experience for sure.

The shop owner claimed that more people use kitchen knives to kill people, even if true it’s sad to use that argument as any sort of justification to carry on selling intentionally threatening looking knives used by school kids through to black (or white) gang members. If you want to make sure, you don't end up in abusive relationships, romantic or otherwise, then look up narcissistic manipulation tactics and how to protect yourself against them. You can further lower the risk of ending up in a bad relationship if you are able to love yourself to where you don't need external validation to feel like you have self-worth.
