14:16 Rule of thumb going forward: Exes with a history of abusive behavior claiming they "just want to talk" should be taken as a red flag. It's never about talking. They just want to regain the control they're losing.

Just ask that girl that went out with he obsessive ex that ended up with 3 gunshots to her head and her body being rolled off of a cliff. If a guy is abusive, he's obviously a wimp. He can't fight so he goes and tricks a girl into a relationship so he can feel less like a wimp when he beats her up. And one important thing, you are nothing strong for dealing with someone abusive, your pathetic for staying. My mother stayed, up until the 3rd time my step-father tried killing her. She thought she was in love so much, that she wanted the person that prevented her death arrested. If the person has kids and being abused, they don't want that garbage. The kids will be happy to be away from that waste of sperm. The only person that wants to stay in that relationship is the one being abused. Signed: the 9 year old me that his mother wanted to be put in jail for stopping his step-father from killing his mother.

you’d think this is common sense but abusers literally alter your reality… i met up with my emotionally abusive ex recently and he didn’t harm me but he shared with me that he’s since moved on to getting physical with his new gf… after a very awkward conversation of me telling him that he needs to keep his hands to himself and him minimizing his actions, i’ve since decided i am never seeing that man again. i gaslit myself into thinking he wasn’t that bad but he basically announced to me that is truly is. bizarre experience for sure.

He was sentenced to life with a minimum tariff of 16 years. That means the parole board would review the case and determine if he is no longer considered to be a risk to the public. If they decide that he is no longer a risk they could release him. That seems unlikely but you never know.
@AnyoneCanSee
@AnyoneCanSee 6 ай бұрын
@@Mike-DuBose - Yeah, I had to Google that. In this video, he says he was sentenced to 16 years, which is very misleading. Life with a minimum of 16 is very different than 16. I think they changed the law but people who got 16 would automatically get a third off that in reality and sio 16 used to be 10.

I had an abusive ex once wanting to take me to the beach, or so he claimed, just to 'talk'. He had threatened to kill me before. I had a really sick gut feeling that he was going to kill me or hurt me in some way, regardless, if I had gone with him something bad would have happened to me. Bless this poor girl and her family. I pray, if any girls or women watch this that have am abusive ex, please do not see them 'just to talk'.

As someone who found herself in two abusive relationships, it breaks my heart because I know that there is no convincing other women to leave a dangerous relationship before they're ready. I have shared my story so many times but I can see it in their eyes when I'm talking to them, they're scoffing inside, thinking "that's not me, he really loves me, our relationship is special". I'm at the point where I've given up even trying. I did the same thing, I refused to believe that he didn't really love me, I'm just lucky I woke up before it was too late. If there are any women out there going through the same thing, please read the book "why does he do that". So many of these stories are the same. Beautiful girl gets hooked up with the hunky guy, but the guy becomes possessive, abusive, violent, and the girl leaves. But then, she agrees to meet him one last time, she's still worried about his feelings or some other ridiculously irrelevant factor, and of course, the nutcase jealous boyfriend kills her. This has happened again and again and again . . . ladies, really, forget that "one last meeting" with the ex. He's not worth a minute of your time. If anything, Elliot's parents produced this arrogant, narcissistic spoiled brat m*rderer . . . as exemplified by their own disgusting denial and attempted coverup later. They should have received much more serious prison time.

The justice system is one thing but your gun crimes over simple issues is detestable. There’s no way I would want freedom of gun ownership but we do have a growing problem with knife stabbings and especially the use of “Rambo knives" which are actually illegal although some shops sell “blunted ornamental" knives, it’s a joke really. The shop owner claimed that more people use kitchen knives to kill people, even if true it’s sad to use that argument as any sort of justification to carry on selling intentionally threatening looking knives used by school kids through to black (or white) gang members. Just comes down to money ultimately but their conscience will always be clear as far as they’re concerned.

I've not only seen too many videos of the same thing happening, but the literal same thing happened to me. Entitled alcoholic abusive partner with some sort of influence, serial cheater and gaslighter that can't take no for an answer and decides to suffocate and, not just strangle, but put you in a chokehold. How is this so specific yet happening so much and not getting noticed???

Genuinely interested, why do people stick around in these types of situations instead of just blocking or cutting all contact? Very sorry you had to go through all that.

I have a feeling that if the same case happened in the USA; 1. Tom, and both parents would have been charged as accessory to murder 2. It would have been cut and dry 1st Degree murder with motive, premeditation (looking up strangulations). Honestly, the guy should be locked up for the rest of his life. I don't see why he wasn't

The fact that she was just 16 clearly explains that she was just immature and couldn’t recognise Eliot’s facade. She probably would have mistaken the excitement that Eliot’s affluent life gave her was love which eventually led her to her death. Stories like this scare me so much, I’m just 17 and I shouldn’t be thinking about my future relationships but I can’t help but hope that my partner doesn’t end up like this 🙏.

If you want to make sure, you don't end up in abusive relationships, romantic or otherwise, then look up narcissistic manipulation tactics and how to protect yourself against them. You can further lower the risk of ending up in a bad relationship if you are able to love yourself to where you don't need external validation to feel like you have self-worth. Of course wanting validation from others is normal and healthy, but it shouldn't dictate your self-worth. Anyways, have fun and enjoy life! I'm sure you'll find decent partners who will treat you with the kindness and respect you deserve!

Keep off dating apps, don't follow your gut when you're attracted to a guy, don't date a man just for his resources, reject love bombing, do background checks and skip the "bad boy phase" and go straight to the "settling down" stage, avoid dudes with neck tattoos, earrings, excessive displays of wealth or a taste for "gangsta rap" and don't fall for what the media says you "should" do.
@Lebecamie
@Lebecamie 6 ай бұрын
@@AmonAnon-vw3hrI agree with your points, but I don't understand why you point specifically to neck tattoos and earrings? Some people like to be authentic in their tastes aesthetically and have a liking for an alternative look, and shouldn't always face a stigma for being dodgy. Just imo.

You should make a video on the Katrina Mendoza case, from san antonio tx. Her and her bf tourtured and killed her 5 year old daughter. My sister used to be best friends with katrina, her daughter used to play with my neice. Its sad and crazy, she is and will always be a horrible mother. she got 45 years and her bf who isnt the bio dad of her daughter he got life. There isnt an interrogation available, idk if there ever will be but its so horrible.

@amaliazorin9895 we lost our apartment because my hours got cut, and we had nowhere else to go. We got lucky to get a family room today. We'll be here for about 6 months, they help get the kids in school, job hunt, eventually find our own place. Other than being up at 0530 it's great here. My kids have friends, the food is good and I'm not stressing about how I'm gonna pay bills. Honestly it's been a blessing in disguise.
