In 2012, Shauna Tiaffay was working and thriving in the Palms Casino in Las Vegas. She worked long hours and late nights. Early into the morning of September 29th, Shauna clocked off and made the 30-minute drive home. At 9:00am, 6 hours later, a devastating discovery was made.

So true. Also, he reported a break-in before saying there was also a murder...it's strange to put that crime first AND at that point if he were innocent he would have had no idea it even was a break-in, so he clearly was already trying to establish a false motive
@trossk
@trossk 2 жыл бұрын
Not necessarily. He was a firefighter so that may just have kicked in from training, but what gave it away was he told 911 she was dead and the body was cold, but when saying him and his daughter were in the garage, he said he neve evenr checked for a pulse
@rachiegoodman
@rachiegoodman 2 жыл бұрын
@@trossk I don't think that necessarily means anything either. Think about it, you get home and find someone lying on the floor with a head wound and it's someone you care about/love. First thing you would do is run up and grab them, at least put your hands on their arms or somewhere on their body to try and rouse them. Since a body goes into rigor mortis really fast, and also cools off fast, you would be able to tell just from touching them that they were dead/cold. I feel like it's plausible that if you could automatically tell someone was deceased you wouldn't feel the need to check for a pulse

You don't hear too much on George's parents & family, but from their initial statements it seems that they were clueless to their son's behavior (or else chose to not see it). *This type of crime is way too common, and a symptom of an underlying social problem that urgently needs to be addressed* We live in a sick, dysfunctional society where most people have no clue about basic relationship skills, boundaries, mental health or even what constitutes a healthy relationship. It's not enough to punish perpetrators after the fact - like treating Stage 4 cancer with a band aid. People wanting to marry should have to pass an exam (and a mental health assessment). Schools need to teach kids how to have healthy functional relationships, how to communicate assertively and how to recognise the warning signs of abuse, domestic violence and dysfunction.

Also people with other mental health issues don't deserve to be married? Who decides the test questions? Who decides what is and isn't a valid relationship, even immigration can't do this to the effect of just a questionnaire? School thing okay, maybe? You just teach the mental health people how to pass your new test but teaching how realtionships should be based on what? the teachers perception of healthy? all the rest is just dumb and ineffective, you know boyfriends and girlfriends murder too, as well as just people with no realtionship to the person, right?

As a psychologist, Noel is a fascinating specimen to observe. You can see in his eyes he struggles to show empathy but he is matter of factly describing Shauna’s murder. He has no reason to lie. During his testimony at trial, he rarely, if at all, blinks. Common in people who experience delusional behavior. He is more believable in his testimony than George is during his police phone call. As far as George goes with wanting a psych evaluation, I believe this shows an underlying narcissistic behavior. Meaning, he 100% believes he can control the outcome of the evaluation results in his favor.

Maybe...to me he just looks strung out on drugs and not at all delusional, but actually very much cognizant of what he did and that he did it for the money.

His eyes in some of those pics say everything. Women, pay attention. My personal experience with men like this…looking in their eyes usually isn’t a pleasant experience. I later found out why. What a monster. Very heartbreaking for the poor kid.

I noticed that too. His eyes look possessed in some of the pictures.

This was the most powerful, beautifully narrated, heart stopping, emotionally charged true crime vid. Thank you for doing what you do! The editing was outstanding. Prayers for Shauna's beautiful family, esp Madison.

What scary for me is people keep making these dumb decisions knowing that they might face life in prison are even death, so how many are doing this and not getting caught 😳

I truly believe as this video says, Shauna's final thoughts were of her beautiful daughter. This is a very sad and horrific video. Prayers.

This sociopath didn't blink at all while describing how he killed Shauna. That poor child is probably scarred for life.

Stories like this usually get to me but for some reason this story REALLY got to me. Almost like I knew this woman. These men deserve whatever they have coming. I feel like the homeless man basically received benefits because now he has a home and free food.
