🇬🇧 your comment about The Netty being a Geordie word for a toilet, made me think of a daft ditty We sang as kids in the 1950s It goes... Oh Wor Geordies lost his Liggy ( marble) Geordies lost his Liggy, doon the Scotswood Road Oh, He dropped it doon the Netty, dropped it doon the Netty, dropped it doon the Netty in the Scotswood Rd. There are a few more verses about Geordie Fund his Liggy but forget the words! Funny little ditty We sang it for skipping games, jumping in & out of A 2 person big skipping rope in the schoolyard. Ah yes I think I have heard that before or parts of it, some of the old skipping songs were good, which is more than can be said for my skipping skills. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching.

Thank you Julie love all you do . Do any of your listeners remember a sandwich ,a hot dog bun with a meat preparation .it could be found at the entrance to one of the larger stores e.g. Woolworths. This was in the 70s , I still remember the aroma and flavor .heavenly.

Hello again, Julie. Some particularly good drawings for this video. Yet another bullying boozemonkey. Yet another woman dead far too young. The dismissal of the case is mystifying; circumstantial evidence it might have been, but there was no doubt she died as the result of a beating ,by her husband, and not the first; and he seems to have been completely unconcerned about his wife's death. Yhe fact is, he got away without punishment for killing her. I wonder what the Judge's own marriage was like? Thank you Julie,for another of your forgotten cases. As ever,I look forward to the next. 👍👏⚘

Thank you so much. Yes I do sometimes wonder why some seemed to be dismissed and others were not, it does make you think that the judge, or similar had some kind of sympathy with some and not others.

Terrible, William should have gone to trial and found guilty of manslaughter, he set things in motion.

Yes, I totally agree, I think a trial was needed.
