Most times, they are inexperienced in investing and don't understand the psychological elements of staying in a trade. It is difficult to sell and exit. If you don't have a plan going into the investment, you leave yourself vulnerable to the market swings and the toll it takes on you. I pulled my investment when doge hit 53 cents. I made 648k. Thank god I’m not an idiot like this guy was. At 20 I bought myself and my parents a house. And dumped the rest into retirement accounts, HYSA, and one brokerage account. I’m 25 now and have no debt. I still work a full time job but I really don’t need to, just one of those things I feel I need to do. Moral of the story. Sometimes enough is enough.
