Because of his holiness, many Catholic have come to venerate Antoni Gaudi as a Saint, petitioning that the Catholic Church may canonize him. So far he is given the title 'Servant of God' the 1st path towards canonization, and many of his devotees are encouraging both Catholics and non-Catholics to pray to him, in hopes that a miracle may happen through his intercession, advancing his cause.

You left out the part about the Spanish civil war. Respect for your interest in Gaudi though. He is an inspiration on my thinking about symmetry and transcendence. His intimate fusion of art with his knowledge of architecture helps me to seek the grace of God.
