Lee Van Cleef menacing eyes was the reason his proffessional career in westerns drew the crowds to cinemas, he simply was the best badass cowboy of his time.

An icon , Lee was magnetic he made you focus on him, his stance his voice his facial expressions his whole demeanour was the perfect package.unfortunately this was the main cause of his typecasting, the dollar series really highlighted his enigmatic image and we all loved the characters he played.

G.K. When I saw that Lee was going to be acting in a movie, I knew it was going to be good. His presence in a movie - even in a supporting role added a lot. My male friends all thought that he was so badass. I'm sorry to se him leave us so soon. He, like my father, died young.

Mr Van Cleef was born to play the roles he played. Watching his movies with my father is a strong and favorite memory of my childhood. Even playing the villian he had an almost royal appearance. He was my favorite villian! May he rest in peace knowing that his fans loved him!

Love van cleef movies the man was an icon just a shame he never got top billing in movies such as lee Marvin because for me he was in that circle of actors but didn't quite get to be there because his acting abilities were up there for me
