En effet elle avait une voix magnifique sur 4 octaves. Malheureusement à ses débuts les producteurs recherchaient plus des groupes que des chanteuses à voix. Ce qui explique qu'elle a eu du mal au début de sa carrière (elle a été choriste puis a fait partie du groupe Meadows). Heureusement sa signature avec Altantic Record lui a enfin permis d'accéder à une structure professionnelle pour qu'elle puisse pleinement exprimer son talent. La perte de son mari a été une vrai tragédie pour elle, ce qui explique qu'elle avait mis un terme à sa carrière. Elle a bien essayé de reprendre quelques années après mais elle n'avait pas l'entourage nécessaire et ses graves problèmes de santé limitaient ses prestations scéniques. Je n'oublierai jamais cette chanteuse, son courage et sa joie de vivre. Forever Young Laura
