I drive thru Sabinal, Tx often. Its sad the city doesn't recognize him as being his home town. They ought to put a huge bill board on each side of the town. Welcome to Sabinal Tx, home of the Great country legend "Johnny Rodriguez "

I’m 71 years old, born in Texas and raised in several states, but mostly California. Of course I’m Mexican American too, and want to say that Johnny definitely has his place in music history and as a pioneer for all of us who have been born and raised in the USA. Always looked up to him.

Johnny Rodriguez is the Greatest country singer. I love all his songs, I love listening to Love me with all your heart (Cuando Caliente El Sol). When he sings that song you can hear it down to his soul. He’s the greatest.

And why was nothing mentioned about when he was singing with David Lee Garza. Johnny had a part in that also. He made something with David Lee Garza and his band. Don’t leave him out of that either! I think Johnny Rodriguez did an excellent job for them also!

He had been and still was struggling with addiction when he married into that family' he didn't met up to their standards while Willie was still living on the wild side doing his thing at the same time' they enabled him until he finally got away from that family no better off than he was before still struggling addiction wise and career-wise... until he married again in 1998 and with the support of his new wife' his life turned around and his career took back off again.

I appreciate your kind words of saying he turned his life around when he and I married in 1998. It would have been nice had they shown actual pics of Johnny and I when they talked about our marriage, instead of some random groupie. This video is so full of inaccuracies it’s ridiculous.

This video, however well intended, has a couple of inaccuracies. The photo shown regarding Linda Patterson Rodriguez Adams is actually a photo of actress Linda Evans. The photo shown with regards to Debbie McNeely is actually a photo of Johnny with a fan/friend Donna Smith, and the other photographs related to Debbie McNeely is of Donna Smith. Please correct this misinformation.

Thank you for your comment. Easy to find information that the maker of this video had complete disregard for the accuracy of. Also, when talking about Lana, they have placed a pic that is not her. Can’t understand why, whoever put this nonsense together, could easily steal pics of Aubry off of her social media, but could not get correct info on other topics. 🙄
