He was an amazing wrestler in the ring, so entertaining on the mic, and gave out a very passionate and genuine vibe. He gave this sport everything he had, and even more. Gone too soon, he would have done so many great things for this industry if he were still alive today. He understood so well the psychology of pro wrestling and would have been a great coach/ trainer. Wrestling would be more fun today if he was still around

There’s a generation of fans who took a string of losses that all started with Eddie’s ride to the top. He won our hearts and became our idol. He won the title and it felt like the greatest moment of our childhoods. Then he’s gone. We then rooted for his best friends Chris and Rey and then watched Chris deteriorate into a murderer and Rey slowly get phased into obscurity after his .title win. Then years later we finally were able to get past the huge losses and find a new underdog who had to come back from adversity to achieve his dream. His name was Bray Wyatt. And then he suddenly dies just like Eddie did. We love this business but it’s hard to get behind it as hard as you used to when it always ends in tragedy.
