The death of Eddie Guerrero is one of the biggest tragedies to the wrestling world. He passed away at a very young age just like Jay Briscoe and Bray Wyatt.

@@Someone_you_know124 Lol first match i saw of him was against Terry Funk in WCW in 1989 (You probably don't even know that happened, lol) And it's still a fact that he never drew a dime anywhere, thus it's obvious that the majority of wrestling fans didn't wanted to see him. Phenomenal video and so glad to have discovered this channel. I was 13 when I tuned into Smackdown on a Saturday morning in the UK (watching while my dad was at work as he didn’t like wrestling) and they announced his death. It was the first time I cried for some sort of stranger and I couldn’t explain why. Knowing the details now having been through similar struggles just makes me respect him even more.

When Eddie was on the show you knew you're gonna have fun, he made wrestling fun to watch on a different level. He was an amazing wrestler in the ring, so entertaining on the mic, and gave out a very passionate and genuine vibe. He gave this sport everything he had, and even more. Gone too soon, he would have done so many great things for this industry if he were still alive today. He understood so well the psychology of pro wrestling and would have been a great coach/ trainer. Wrestling would be more fun today if he was still around

The sad thing the real sad thing is all these drugs and steroids that Eddie and others have taken for fame it’s not worth it. Fame is fleeting fleeting, and his real priority should’ve been with his family. He loves his family, but those drugs they kill they kill, kill kill, that’s the point they kill I know I know what they can do here. There’s a generation of fans who took a string of losses that all started with Eddie’s ride to the top. He won our hearts and became our idol. He won the title and it felt like the greatest moment of our childhoods. Then he’s gone. We then rooted for his best friends Chris and Rey and then watched Chris deteriorate into a murderer and Rey slowly get phased into obscurity after his .title win. Then years later we finally were able to get past the huge losses and find a new underdog who had to come back from adversity to achieve his dream. His name was Bray Wyatt. And then he suddenly dies just like Eddie did. We love this business but it’s hard to get behind it as hard as you used to when it always ends in tragedy.

I remember his first match in WCW... Long time ago. He was a jobber in the beginning. But in that match you could tell he was going to be a HUGE star... He made it to the top and beyond! R.I.P Latino Heat!!!! Gone but N-NEVER forgotten!!

So many tragic stories like this ....but this particular one feels more personal because we literally watched their rise to the top

Man that was a dark day when i found out he passed, kept refreshing the wwe website. Was crying abit lol eddie was my favourite wrestler back then. Felt like end of an era when eddie and chris were gone i stopped watching wrestling around that time

It was weird. Seen him on smackdown and the next day im getting ready for school and seen them olay on the news that he died. It was such a little footnote of a report it didnt feel real til i went to school and we were all going nuts about it. Damn man.
