Thanks for mentioning that.🙂 I sincerely need sexism pointed out to me often because it was so ingrained from an early age. Even the best of hearts can't know what they don't know. Or in other words, it really is good that we don't live forever because old, ignorant, hateful ideas might never fade into history. 🙂

@@drwoo6090 I gave my opinion on the subject of this video, who happens to be a woman. If the subject of the video had been a man flitting from one woman to the next with no morals and no loyalty I would have written the exact same thing. It’s very unfair the way men are constantly being attacked these days, unless they are lgbt of course. There are plenty of good, straight men who don’t cheat, in fact I’m married to one.

The only thing I could criticise her for is leaving her kids to other care givers while she was away doing whatever. Then I find myself thinking, what about Tyrone Powers, was he an engaged dad? I doubt it. I doubt also that he and all the men associated with Hollywood and beyond who were considered root rats; their morals never coming into question, nor would they be described in such pejorative terms as the narrator has just described Linda Christian. Furthermore, she had nothing to do with that racing car driver smashing into spectators, killing himself, his navigator and all those innocent victims; it was the lack of safety measures that caused that catastrophe.

@@brigidsingleton1596 Thanks, what was meant is the pronunciation of Dina should be optional, seeing as we also have the male version "Dino" as in Dino de Laurentis. Not so with the narrator's shocking mistake of pronouncing it the "ANALS" of history!😂😂😂 English pronunciation is varied and unreliable. The vowel sounds in English are all dipthongs, whereas in other European languages they are standard, with a slight variation on the "open" e and o. The study of phonetics refines the ear to the subtleties of sound.

Apparently, neither did British author Enid Blyton ("have time for her children") Apparently her interest in children - not the _bad_ kind of 'interest in children', but as a _mother_ - was mostly in the _many_ , *many* stories she wrote about groups of 'adventuring children'... Julian, Dick Anne and their cousin George (Georgina) and George's dog, Timmy, aka "The Famous Five", plus "The Adventures of..." with Philip, his sister Dinah, and their friends (& later, adopted siblings) Jack, his parrot: 'Kiki' and Jack's sister Lucy-Ann.... (The latter sets of books being _my personal_ favourite) Plus - though I rarely read them and do not recall their names. "The Secret Seven" ... Enid was a prolific writer _of_ children's stories, _for_ children, but in so doing - according to her own children - had very little time to devote to her own 'flesh 'n' blood' children, which they very much resented, (unsurprisingly). I loved most of the Enid Blyton stories, particularly 'The Adventures'...and 'The Famous Five', but felt sad (when I found out through a TV documentary of her life, when I became an adult plus a mum, myself) for her children ...but I guess that's often how life goes, _if_ one's hobby or career takes over...😢

All these men, got tired just hearing all the chasing she did. I just watched a mini doc on Romina Power her daughter. Romina had a daughter that went missing and later found dead in the 90's in Louisiana. Some say she was murdered and some say she killed herself. That was interesting. Also checked out Romina Power and her Husband Albano's music from the 70's. All so interesting, one story lead to another.

Hadnt heard of her before tbh. If you read actor David Niven's memoirs , (The Moon's a Balloon) his close friend Errol Flynn like minors. He would drive past schools with David to eye up students, & at his death, his 'girlfriend' was 15 & dating him with her mothers full knowledge.

Till today I have not heard about her. But remember her daughter Romina Power. So I guess this woman, Dinah Christian, was nothing special to remember. She lived a long wife, picked up every guy on her road and took what she could. So what...a pretty face she had but this was nothing she worked for just good genes from her parents.

Dinah Shore is pronounced "DYE-nuh". Also, Errol didn't "re-christian" her, he re-christened her. Her daughter, Taryn Power, had a bit of an acting career herself. Most people do not consider the American television version of "Casino Royale" to be "Official" -- it was an hour-long TV drama, in which Bond was changed into an American CIA agent, for one thing. For another the EON Productions Bond films are considered the Official Bond films. ANNals, not ANals... TOTALLY different.

I'm not so sure if you didn't mix up Linda Christian with slightly younger Linda Christian the Argentinian sexy actress who indeed stared in Tarzan Johnny Weismuller's movie "Tarzan and the Mermaids" her first movie stared in Hollywood; John Wayne's "The ALAMO" and finally in 1958 - Jock Mahoney's "The Last of the Fast Guns" a wonderfully chilling Western directed by George Stevens presumable her last movie, other than uncountable TV series. - Same fun with Allan Ladd and Allan Lane ( Allan Lane quickly became "Allan Rocky Lane" the famous "cowboy" of Republic pictures, one of the best REPUBLIC series ever.
