Well, he cared about humanity more than himself. He felt so good and satisfied with himself and his work that he wanted to help others. And when we say that he was really ahead of his time, we mean it... If we want the human race to progress we shouldn't work for ourselves and only, we should care about others as well ; and they shall care about us, if we wanna reach a type 1 civilization. Tesla wanted the good of all people, like a community, he wanted the human race to progress and help everybody, he worked for other people but those other people didn't do anything about him tho. Nikola Tesla: A Scientist ahead of his time --- was not recognized Albert Einstein: A Scientist ahead of his time --- was barely recognized because of the chaotic times Srinivasa Ramanujan: A Mathematician ahead of his time --- made revolutionary theories solving problems that did not even exist in his time, but lived a short life. H.P.Lovecraft: An author ahead of his time --- lived a poor life, but his works were recognized (and a sub genre of horror was named after him) long time after his death. Paul Morphy: A Chess player ahead of his time --- even wikipedia does not contain his complete life story. There was one thing common in the above 5 of them, was the simple fact that none of them followed the crowds. They were way unique compared to their peers.

😢Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. The bible is no old book. You have to really let Christ open your eyes; to see the world in shambles. Many people say it's a religion to lock up people in chains, and say it's a rule book.. why? Because people hate hearing the truth, it hurts their flesh, it's hurts their pride, it's exposes on what things have they done..people love this world so much, s*x, money, power, women, supercars.. things of this world. Still trying to find something that can fill that emptiness in your heart. You can't find that in this world.. only in Christ, the bible is no chains, it's a chainbreaker. Breaking your sins into pieces... Repent now, and turn back to the true Lord only.. God bless.😢😢😢

I remember when I was in high school studying mathematics and physics. My father, who is an electrical engineer, explained to me the importance of Tesla's development of research into the electric field; and how almost all modern day applications use his science. A well known fact is Edison used terrible unethical business tactics, to bury Tesla's developments into electrodynamics. Sadly this is almost never taught in the American education system.

Same goes for the Indian education system, I remember reading one chapter in our course telling us about Edison. He was portrayed as such a nice and humble person, it makes me furious to know that I was not told the whole truth and idolized him before finding what the actual history was between tesla and Edison.

@Karlo Babić 2:49 It clearly says, Nationalität: Serbe. It's German for Nationality: Serbian. Just like his father was Serbian Orthodox priest. He had zero connections to Croatia due to Croatia not existing at the time, he was born in Austria-Hungary. So it's like saying Alexander the Great is Macedonian even tho he was Greek and Macedonia was Greek state and had nothing to do with modern day North Macedonia. Or if you say that Constantine was Serbian beacuse he was born in Naisus, modern day Niš in Serbia...tho it was Roman empire at the time. So please be a good human, stop stealing from this man. They've stole his ideas, his Nobel, his glory, they stole him from Word. So respect him, his name, his work, his personality and nationality. You can praise him even if he is not of your nation, it completely normal, trust me. Or if you can't respect a Serb than, only than you'll look like Neanderthal. PS In the next few comments I will provide you with links to his birth certificate (Tho its in Serbian Cyrillic) and I'll try to find something about his funeral where they've played "Tamo daleko" (Serbian nostalgic patriotic song) as he requested in his will. Good luck to you, cheers.

I like to think that, if you quietly meditate and send caring thoughts to Tesla, then, given that all time/space exists simultaneously, then your kind thoughts would perhaps comfort him a little in his old age. I admit it's just a fanciful idea.

@@cratisk6537 I think the story of Tesla is very sad so it's not surprising if you are crying. Also Calum's comments about how tough the corporate world can be - they are very sobering. I hope that we can all comfort each other a little as we read about this sadness. Also we can remember that Tesla had some times of great success and he would have felt elated at times when his experiments worked so he experienced some joy as well as a very dismal old age.
