tragic yes but she wasn't cooperating and went back to be a cook after she said she wouldn't. smh. hard headed and difficult lady.

If she did deliberately pass on typhoid then yes she needed to be locked up. It’s debatable if she really understood what she had. She also had a false negative which fueled her denial and she went back to work. She changed her name though which didn’t make her look innocent.

One way how she might have stayed as a cook would have been to concentrate on foods that was cooked after preparing it. Thus no salads, no desserts like peach melba.

No, it’s mainly for hand-washing specifically. Gloves are recommended, but also have a strict usage to prevent cross contamination if worn and used improperly.
