I agree, something about big brother players just has not translated well to the traitors, like Cory from season 1(I’m talking all US) was the first traitor out and the other traitors didn’t even have to do anything, Dan attacked Phaedra for no reason other than trying to make himself look innocent but all it did was make him look more guilty and Phaedra look good, and now Danielle is doing the same thing to Carolyn so we’ll see I guess 🥲

@ I think it’s because they play it like big brother where you have to talk a ton and “plant seeds” over a long period of time but traitors is so different because it’s a short show and talking more just gives people reason to look at you

Rob should have let the other traitors take the reins on the murder after his move on Bob TDQ. His biggest weakness is his need to assert dominance like we saw in winners at war with his “buddy system on crack” he can’t do this stuff with experienced gamers.

I think something to take into consideration about Big Brother players is that their games are very centralized even moreso than survivor on interpersonal relationships. Only two people can be vulnerable for vote off (three if someone wins immunity or theres a back door plot) and ultimately, the only person whose good graces you have to be in is the Head of Household. If you're friends with whoever wins the power, or alternately aren't disliked by someone who wins the power, you stay safe. Conversely, every tribal counsel, the entire pool of players is available to receive votes, just like The Traitors. I think that's why Big Brother players have a very narrow view of the game and are also obsessed with playing the long game (their seasons are double to triple as long as a Survivor game). In Big Brother, the real gameplay begins when you're either a) on the block or b) Head of Household, and you can lay low in the meantime. In Survivor, you must ALWAYS be on because you can be the vote at any Tribal, regardless of if your alliance has the numbers. Lastly, when you're in direct danger of going home in Big Brother... you actually know about it unlike in survivor. Blindsides happen all the time in Survivor, and while they also happen in Big Brother too, someone has to be put on the block beforehand which is inherently dangerous. In Big Brother, you have time to talk yourself out of receiving votes before eviction day, in Survivor and the Traitors, you can find out you're in trouble AT the elimination ceremony essentially. I think a lot of the BIg Brother players' skills relies on taking time they simply don't have in this sort of game.

I'm surprised that no one at the round table clocked that Rob gave the EXACT same defence for getting out Bob TDQ that Dan gave last season when he threw Phaedra under the bus. It's the "I'm going to keep silent until I'm sure I know who the traitor is and then I'll take my shot and be correct" move, which basically outs yourself as being a traitor because as Wes pointed out, the only way to be that certain who a traitor is is to be one yourself. No one is that good.

She is not bad at this game, when you come in contact with the GOAT, when you come into contact with the apex predator, you shit your pants, you can't just take a shot at Rob, This is boston fucken rob dude, you cannot do that. You do that you go home, that's the bad move. She would be gone this episode if she took a swing, it would be like a knockout punch at the roundtable, and Rob alrdy flustered her with the Bob vote, just genius levels able to extract these errrorrs.

@aurei44 she was playing recklessly before he went after Bob. They both were. Rob wasn't looking at them until Bob mentioned the cages having a traitor in them. But Danielle and him are very sloppy, and there is a very clear trail to voting her off without Rob being a threat. Two different times now she's "put herself at risk," she immediately tried to put a traitor in a coffin to die, she got rid of Jeremy even though people know that was his only name he ever said, she and Bob would constantly cover each other in public conversations at breakfast. There is enough there to be very suspicious of her. Throwing Carolyn out is dangerous. Danielle is playing a bad game. It doesn't matter that it's Rob. His reputation, like Tony precedes him, Rob is only one vote. You can't murder another traitor in this game. You can only banish them. So you get with the people already onto Rob like Wes and Derrick, you have Carolyn who has told you multiple times she doesn't want Rob here, that's 4. Then, it's a matter of getting others who are also thinking about him. Sam, that's 5. Rob can't vote himself, so that leaves 8 people left at this round table. Ceira is an easy pickup as she's afraid to die being the last coffin person. The Bambis that are left have no voting power at that point. It's basic math when you take even 5 minutes to think about it. Rob is a very easy vote off when you look at him as just a man. It's all in people's heads. He's not any more powerful than anyone else in the game.

Carolyn said yesterday that now that she's seen the episode she agrees with Boston Robs decision to go after Bob the drag queen and she really doesn't think it was all about ego anymore, but she couldn't understand his perspective at the time because shut didn't really notice Bob put Rob on blast and she couldn't remember him doing it. She also didn't realize how hard Bob and Danielle were trying to put her in the coffin and that Boston Rob was trying to keep her out of it. So now she doesn't think Rob would hang worked against Bob if he didn't have to.

The only time I can remember all the traitors came into breakfast at the same time was when Parvati, Phaedra and Dan were the first ones to arrive at breakfast they then discussed who Parvati Had poisoned with the glass of wine. Dan and Phaedra had no idea who Parvati poisoned, Parvati then tells them Ekin-Su drank the poison, Phaedra then shouts out loud in shock, Oh No, Not Ekin-Sue.

Danielle has been all over the place. It was hilarious when Delores called her out and asked doesn't she want a shield. Even if Danielle's plan worked to get out Carolyn whoever did get recruited will probably be a puppet for Rob then Danielle is back at square one.

As a BB fan I honestly have no idea what's up with these BB Traitors lol. My guess is that all 3 of them have struggled with the pacing differences of the shows because for some reason all of them have been terrible as Traitors. Losing BTDQ was a real blow for Danielle as her strategy has always been to have 1 ride or die til the end (most famously Jason from BB3) & losing Bob looks like has blown her strategy up completely. Working with Boston Rob might be throwing her off as well as she never worked with a player that has been more powerful & controlling than her, even in BB all-stars when she worked with Dr. Will at least Will gave off the illusion of them being equal partners.

That is the broken mechanism that is also part of their oath, because by being a traitor you also have to inherently lie. Even though I dont agree with it. But there's nothing you can do if traitors do it. How will you stop them? Like bring legal stipulations like breach of contracts or what or like not getting paid if you tell other traitors? How? There's no mechanism from them to stop them from telling. So the better rule is, though recommended, its not prohibited

Danielle's game is extremely uncharacteristic. She always has her thumb on things and she's incredibly cutthroat. She lost BB3 because she was incredibly loyal to Jason and Lisa, two people who obviously would have beat her and she knew it. But she was aware of that. She knows what to do and it was like that on BB7 as well. She knew exactly what was going on but got unlucky with comp wins. Her Traitors game is so uncharacteristic of her. Also, when Chrishell told Rob about Nikki's face, I literally saw Natalie Tennerelli flash before my eyes on the screen.

Mike bloom said that Danielle is playing the Big brother way, to take down your main enemy you've got to bring their #1 person first because of the inherent mechanism of the power of veto and house votes. There's 2 safety nets if you are being targeted. Unlike survivor where there's only immunity idol (totally different to a power of veto which is a guarantee per week) and there's the tribal council votes.

I personally think in order for the game to evolve they need another season with non celebrities who actually really care about the money. All of these people just want to up their fame level and get on TV again- maybe with the exception of Carolyn. If you put normies in there they would be analyzing the previous edit of the show and actually trying to get close to traitors, etc

When they do an allstars, I do hope they prioritize faithfuls that were relatively good in the game. I also hope and feel it has to be random number generated at some point because it's getting obvious who they're picking as the traitors. Blindfolds on and everyone gets a card, traitor or faithful, if they don't want the role they can put the card back in the deck, and then it's rerolled a few times, even if everyone accepted their traitor roles, just so it does not let anyone deduce anything.

I’m so glad people are talking about big brother players sucking. I’ve a theory. In big brothers you get a week to vote someone out. And you’ve multiple competitions and people usually vote for people outside of their alliance. Where is in survivor you’re voting someone out each day and alliances don’t last long (new era at-least) you’ve to betray people way more. And in survivors people depend on each other to literally survive. They’re eating together sleeping together doing everything together to survive. In BB You’re not struggling together. So it’s much easier in BB to betray people and you’ve more time to make friends and vote out people you’re not friends with. Survivor is much more cutthroat. And I believe that’s why survivor players are better. I was surprised to see how much Danielle sucks tho every choice she makes is a wrong one.

"Rob is 1 man and has no power than the rest of you" That's a pretty insane comment from a Survivor junkie. This is like me going into the ring of peak Tyson and saying "Tyson is just a man, he has 2 arms like everyone else and can punch once at any given interval, yet they are losing to him when they have the same advantages he has.." You are forgetting this is Boston Fken Rob. The superstar players are able to do this with their superstar game, social games, intangibles, extract errors, use strategies that are beyond anyonce level to the point that they can do this to you.

Watched all the international seasons and this is one of the best traitor players I've ever seen 1. Carolyn just undetected, even when another traitor throws her name still no one suspects her, this is a testament to how good she's playing imo 2. Boston Rob: What I like is he not only made possibly the greatest move of all time, but even I did not see the genius he was able to get through this, that we saw in this episode. Him being able to extract loyalty, split up Danielle from her Bob, which extracted so much meltdowns, and unravelling, and fear from scarying everyone. And people that deduced he is a traitor are afraid of him. He send a HUGE message to anyone that wants to screw with him Also the "=Rob is always "ON" is so Russell Rob esque, reminds me of that post boot confessional Daneille gave where Russel was always watching everyone like a policeman, and this is a major trait of Robs game too. 3. Danielle. Just brilliant, she was able to extract loyalty from Bob and took out the guy that was after her in Jeremy straight away, great game awareness and being very unsuspecting, I can't fault her for the unraveling in this season because the GOAT Rob extracted that with his genius game. 4. Bob: Again he played great and played like a faithful, I can't fault him for being in the same season as the GOAT
