I love Alexis' channel. It isn't even that she's trans, it's that she's a delightful person, full of grace, with a great sense of humour, never taking herself or life too seriously. Both she and Liam always cheer me up when I'm down. These qualities are so rare on social media, which is why their channel is so refreshing and unique.

To add to that, I love that Alexis implements so much regular, every day content into the mix. Not everything is focused on her being trans or commenting on/reacting to things related to the subject of trans. We simply get to see her just living life and that is such a joy to watch.

@@AsMr-km6ex Ngl, this isn't a realistic expectation. Because on the flip side you are also asking transmen (who look like Buck) people who look like biological MEN with beards even though they aren't, TO BE in the same space with you and your daughter. Which is something you also don't want and it's not something you would realistically know. The middle ground is not letting the people who are obviously (they are very obvious tbh because they don't tend to transition or do it partially) not transexuals into the bathrooms. As you can see, Alexis would likely be thrown out of a restaurant just like Blaire White was if she was to go into the men's bathroom. Perception is everything and in this case it seems to be rather clear who will respect those spaces and transition long before entering vs those who don't or half ass it just because they want to be in those spaces for fetishistic purposes.

I also am married to a wonderful man who has never questioned my decision to change. I’ve had top surgery and am currently taking testosterone. I’m in therapy with a wonderful trans woman who has been a great therapist and mentor. I’m also a retired clergy who has wanted to walk the earth as a man since I was young. It’s hard being trans in Texas but it’s doable if you can pass and don’t act crazy. I really appreciate your style and your perspective. Keep up the good work and blessings ❤

My son came out as transgender at 12, (he's now 16 on Tuesday) I never shut him down or invalidated him, I accepted him immediately, however I did talk to him and explain that until he can consent to change anything physically it wouldn't be happening. It has nothing to do with not wanting him to feel on the outside who he is on the in but I do believe as a child who's developing and changing constantly it's such huge decisions, it has to be theirs when they have the full understanding of what they are about to do with their bodies, he completely agrees, we got him some therapy to support him while he learns all about this journey he's on, he's entire family and friends have welcomed him whole heartedly, and he's doing so incredible, I've seen his opinions on certain things change over the years which has shown me making him wait till he's an adult is the right choice. He's 100% transgender however the more he learns about risk to surgeries and so on the more he makes educated decisions. Thank you for speaking out for trans people like my boy, who wants nothing more than to just be the boy he feels inside, not these fakes that are making this community look like it's just full of wronguns

Good for you. And I believe it's so important for kids who believe they are trans go through puberty as for a large number of them, they do grow out of it when the hormones kick in. If they still feel the same after puberty, then by all means, do what feels right for them and they can go into it 100% sure, which leads to the best outcome.
@HanChap22 ай бұрын
Absolutely. My son, now grown up, was gay, trans, bi and straight throughout his teenage years. A lot of teens wonder where they fit and what sexual orientation they are. I always told my son, whatever his preference or gender he decides is right for him, I'm here for him but to just find his way until he's got passed puberty because he'll be better equipped to make an informed choice once his hormones have settled more.

I have a great nephew (sister in laws grandson) that decided to transition at 20 (he is gay but his mother wouldn't accept it). He went to the doctor and immediately got hormones - no psychological examination at all. Just oh, your trans - here you go. And nothing was discussed about the negative effects of the hormones. He has since started therapy to accept his sexual identity and has stopped the hormones. But it was so scary to me how easy it was for him to start.

I have many gay friends. Many of them say that if their parents had not been as accepting of them they could easily have gone down this route as they felt so much stigma from outside forces to do just that. Children pick up on vibes as well as language and actions. Children want to be accepted and they will tie themselves in all kinds of knots just to get that acceptance many times.
@charliefarrar71493 ай бұрын
@jujutrini8412 that is exactly why he wanted to do it. He felt his mom would be OK with him being with men if he transitioned. He didn't tell her what he was doing. I am pretty sure she would have lost her mind when she found out. And I can only imagine what that would have done to him.

Lesbian here. I've heard this scenario a few times, and it really confuses me. If a family wouldn't be accepting of a gay or lesbian kid, how would that kid fare any better with that family by transitioning? It's not like the typical phobic family loathes gay people but is fine with trans people.

AHHHHHHHHHH 🥰😱 I am SO HAPPY RIGHT NOWWWWW!!! Been following Alexis since pretty much day 1 of her KZbin presence and I have LOVED watching her grow. Representing the UK we *_finally_** have an INCREDIBLE Trans-Woman* to teach the British LGBT youth how to not be insane “Wokies” and follow science/factual reality that we actually live in.

Buck and Alexis (and Blaire) are so refreshing. I feel bad for the crazy representation they have in their community when they are so incredibly normal as people.

I have long awaited this conversation. Alexis is such a wonderful transwoman and Buck is the most on point transman. He tells it like it is. Alexis is so sweet and she tries so hard not to be negative ❤ them both

I'm thankful that your man and you understand trans women. I'm a woman and I'm grateful. This is really an amazing interview thank you. I'm thankful that you understand that women need their space.

The way Alexis described gender dysphoria (sp?) is the best way I have heard it described to where I actually understand what it is. I am learning a lot from your channel and Blair's channel. Thank you all for putting your voices out here!!!❤

OMG 2 of my favourite trans creators in one space. Although my real life experience of trans people is limited, they have all been genuine trans people, who are just living their lives. Your voices are so important.

Her hands are beautiful 😭 I wish i had long, slender fingers instead of short, stubby, fat fingers. 😅 Buck is spot on. It's in your head, love. Nothing wrong or 'suspicious' about them. ❤

I totally agree. Alexis has beautiful hands. Long, slender feminine fingers. They're gorgeous.

Oh, how lovely! Alexis, you may be a guest, but you are so welcome. I'm keen on the OG experience of Buck and the current experience of the younger Alexis. It's refreshing to see trans folks so genuinely comfortable in their skin, not the sort of typical hateful TikTok activists. ❤

Thanks for an interesting discussion. Always refreshing when 2 people can disagree on some things and it not end up in a screaming match.

I’m a woman same age as Buck. If not for Buck, Alexis, Blair and Marcus, I would think every trans person was a militant lunatic. I don’t recall the name of the person who goes into restaurants filming people who call him “sir” but that was my idea of what a trans person was like. No one could misgender any of you. Thank you for your sanity, and especially for protecting the children.
