I wish I could find words to describe how utterly breathtaking and beautiful and heartbreaking Lee wonderful this particular cover of one of my favorite sufjan songs… I like this version better than the original, which, is quite a lot. Absolutely just amazing. Thank you for sharing this. It is beautiful. Wish we could have this song at our church during contemporary services…

I've never really liked Sufjan Steven's songs. A lot of his music seems to be brusque outlines of what contemporary praise music *could* be BUT this rendition of The Transfiguration is both wonderful and touching and bring tears of joy to this agnostic's eyes. Thanks.
