Meghan is a victim, but not by the people who complain about her behaviour(which is not bullying by the way). Do you understand spreading stories claiming that MM is an ex porn star, a narcissist and psychopath whose mother has a criminal record and who faked her own children? The rumours of Williams infidelity just refuse to go away and are supported by at least circumstantial evidence. Whether they are true or not is yet to be definitely established, but whatever the case it is interesting that the campaign of disinformation against MM went into high gear when the rumours first surfaced in an apparent attempt to deflect attention away from the dysfunction of the RF onto someone else. Its more than simply whether William cheated on Kate that is at stake. There are issues of collusion, using questionable legal processes to hide the truth and honesty. On the balance of probabilities, it doesn't look good for William, but who knows what the truth is. The best thing William could do is have his layers lift the injunction against the rumours even being discussed and challenge his accusers in court where the claims will be subject to a process of discovery and subjected to the burden of evidence. He won't though. Getting to the truth is not what the RF are interested in

No exactly. The rumour persists and there are those who maintain that it was common knowledge amongst certain circles. Its not surprising that William, like all royal men, and so called aristocrats, should have a mistress, or several, on the side. Women marrying into the RF are typically chosen because of attributes that have little to do with romance or genuine affection, but rather because they fit a criteria deemed appropriate for an official wife. It is expected that they will tolerate their husbands extra marital diversions. The queen, despite being tge queen, tolerated Phillips philandering and it has always been thus. William was clearly not in a hurry to marry Kate in the first place, even dumping her officially when the RF became concerned that she was frightening off other more 'suitable' candidates for the job. He married her when it became evident that young women were not exactly throwing themselves at him. Not certain, but I believe in the end he was encouraged to do so by Charles and the ex queen. Nonetheless, its both unsurprising and trivial that he would have extra marital interests of that type. What does make it interesting, though, is the extraordinary injunction William took out to prevent the rumour from simply being discussed, not on the basis that it was untrue, but because it had the potential to cause him reputational harm and embarrassment. Its quite the opposite of denying it and taking anyone speeding it to court where the veracity of the claims if an affair would be subjected to a process of discovery and where evidence would need to be provided.

I acknowledge that affection between two people is likely to grow as a result of proximity and shared experience, particularly if they have raised children together (although to what extent the royals parent, much less coparent is another issue. However, William and Kates marriage was clearly an arrangement, you might even say a surrender on behalf of the RF and William who clearly wasn't keen on marrying, much less marrying Kate. He and his social circle were known to ridicule Kate and Pipa as the 'Wisteria Sisters' and saw them as good time girls willing to do anything to climb. I am not 100 percent sure whether William dud have an affair, but I think the balance of probabilities indicates that it us mire likely than not. I see no reason why you would assume the experience of his parents would deter William perusing extra marital affairs and mistresses as royal men have always done including his father and grandfather. Based on circumstantial evidence only, it does look like they have something to hide. Of course, it may simply be they don't want to air their dirty laundry in public, but William did take out an injunction preventing the rumour from even being discussed, not on the basis that they are untrue, but because they are an embarrassing invasion of privacy. Its what you do in Britain when you want to prevent the truth from being revealed rather than the other way around. I too thought that the rumours were just the product of a media too eager to find any salacious gossip concerning the royals initially, but it seems there is more substance to them than was initially evident. The only way we will know one way or the other is if William would challenge his accusers directly and in court rather than hiding behind a seriously suspicious injunction designed to prevent the facts from being discussed. That's what I thought initially. Not so sure any more. William wasn't in a hurry to marry Kate in the first place. The RF kept her hanging around for 9 years while they clearly continued to look for more appropriate option. He even dumped her when the RF became concerned that she is frightening off other potential applicants and only married her because it was becoming embarrassing. However, it is the extraordinary injunction William took out to prevent anyone from discussing the rumour that lends even more veracity to it. He didn't challenge the rumour by asserting it was untrue and defending it legally in court where it would be tested with evidence, he took out an injunction to stop anyone from talking about it on the basis that it caused damage to his reputation and caused him embarrassment. Why are you so confident the rumours are lies? They may be, but they are persistent and according to some were common knowledge amongst certain circles. We will not know the truth until William lifts the extraordinary injunction he had his lawyers take out to prevent the matter from even being discussed. They haven't been demonstrated to be true or otherwise, but circumstantial evidence does not support the assertion that they are lies. Far from it. No one is jealous of William and his family. He is possibly the most unaccomplished and uncharismatic man in public life in whom only a fantasist royalist could imagine any admirable qualities.
