Safer... He feels safer when people say “they” I would feel safer if people weren’t so idiotic and fragile
@filminginportland16544 жыл бұрын
Leon Dohrman I agree. I’m transsexual, and in the old days the general rule was that you’re going to have to get a thick skin if you attempt to transition because society will NOT accept you. We were also taught that this should only ever be undertaken if it’s your only option due to gender dysphoria that has made life unbearable. Essentially, as a last resort. All these new groups of people who don’t meet any traditional definition of being trans are demanding all sorts of crazy things. They make us all look like clowns. We aren’t even allowed to disagree with them as they’ll attack us even more viciously. I don’t know what’s behind these new groups of young people but this isn’t what we’ve been fighting for for so long. This isn’t how one creates acceptance in society, and I wonder how solid their identities even are if they are going to be so fragile. Whatever this is, it is completely different from actual trans people, and I’m sorry they’re causing so much trouble in our name.
@leondohrman8874 жыл бұрын
Filming In Portland honestly, it’s not that I feel they are causing trouble and I’m upset about it. To me it’s some sort of greater issue. It seems (and I may be wrong) that the struggles that they face are mostly online. I’m not saying they don’t face hatred, but I would bet it’s mostly from online trolls. We all know how much easier it is for a person to spew hatred on a keyboard rather than to someone’s face. I’m all for being who you feel and being an individual but it’s getting a bit ridiculous when a person says they would feel safer if you used the pronoun they. Give me a break
@ozzyel45944 жыл бұрын
I'm not comfortable with referring to anyone as "they". It makes me feel unsafe. It questions my identity as a man, denies my right to free thought, and denies my undeniable truth. Two can play that game.

Yeah, since when was being nice to other people such a big deal. I thought in free societies people could do what they wanted? And here's you lot up in arms about something that effects you exactly 0 times.
@SonoftheAllfather4 жыл бұрын
@@TheDominicProject It's not just about "being nice." It's about the social coercion they use to dictate what another person should or shouldn't say just to satisfy their deluded reality. They try to act as if a person who refuses to willfully delude themselves and be bullied into using certain language is committing an act of violence or denying their existence or something. And who the F are you to assume it doesn't effect anyone here? I am personally effected by this madness. A member of my family has decided to pretend they are the opposite sex, and if I refuse to play pretend-time, even when the person is NOT PRESENT, certain members of my family get mad at me and act like I'm the one with the problem. People who resist willfully deluding themselves (just to satisfy political correctness) are not guilty of anything.

@@TheDominicProject If people can do "what they want" then why criticise my comment? Are you trying to curtail my freedom of speech? And no, it doesn't affect others "0 times". The radical leftists behind this nonsense are trying to enforce people to accept something they disagree with, enforce changes to the English language, enforce their ideology onto our children in schools, etc, etc.
@TheDominicProject4 жыл бұрын
@@ibrahimsulaiman9047 lol. Nice victim complex, sorry did my comment get you arrested? I can't believe you still can't accept this. Freedom of speech is not the same as being free from criticism. I could call a black person the n word, I have the freedom to do so, but that'd still make me a prick. Same applies here, you can do what you want, but it is essentially bullying. Calm down seriously. Whether you like it or not, these people exist. The idea is, in schools, in PSHE, where they learn about sex and drugs and and bullying and all kinds of things necessary to consider for preparing for adulthood, kids will also have discussions around queer people or racism or gender identity. It is just to make people aware, to foster understanding, to prevent hate. Imagine if you had been taught about this stuff? You wouldn't be so irate... You can live your life as you want. Stop attacking those who live as they want. Either you're a prick or you're a human being, which is it?
