Thanks for being so open and honest about the struggle of being a mom I have a toddler and a 9 month old and can definitely relate. As a Canadian I'm still shocked with maternity leave in America I was able to take 18 months paid maternity leave. 6 weeks is joke

It can be so defeating and so joyous at the same time. The leave is definitely not great

Started watching your channel to get ideas for my 3 yr old grandson. Love your videos. We all love our children more than anything but we don't need to feel guilty about needing a break. Everything doesn't have to be perfect. Let go of the small things. Dont worry about what other people might think. Its important to have time to yourself. Hang in there.

Aw thank you for your sweet words. I agree, we shouldn't feel guilty about needing a break sometimes. Hangin in!

I’m so sorry that you had one of those days. It does happen 😅 The mommy struggle is real and I know how you feel and we all definitely go through these hard times. Take it one day at a time. That light bulb moment is definitely important and remembering to prioritize all the children.

Sooo nice to hear the honestly of not being the only one who is struggling. It can be so lonely at times. Oh my gosh, the pee all over the floor hahah - she sounds like a trouble maker!! Awww I'm sorry the baby is having issues. Those strips are so cool, I had no idea something like that even existed. That's cool the art boxes are working for you guys. I haven't tried one of those subscriptions yet. Yessss maternity leave in the US is a straight up joke!

Thank you :) The strips are very cool - so nice to be reassured and good to be able to check for issues in the future. As for the art box, you won't be disappointed by this one!

I feel you with every fiber of my being. Thank you for sharing this. It makes me feel less alone. I have a 4 month old, 3 year old and 5 year old. If every detail isn't prepared the night before, the next day is a hot mess and even so it can still go off the rails so quickly. Everything is going well BAM 5 minutes later tears chaos, spills, etc. P.s. I had to drink what I thought was an impossible amount of water (32 oz) with every single feeding in addition to the rest of my normal 8-10glasses.

I have a 2.5yo and a 1yo and I'm 21 weeks pregnant. I am relating to you so much. After baby wearing my first child constantly, the second one I hardly wore. I was done baby wearing. It hurt my shoulders and I couldn't even drink hot tea without worrying about the baby on me. Thanks for sharing your hard day.

I have had some days I’ve been exhausted. When we had our third, Paul didn’t take any time off and went back to work for his next shift when we got home. My oldest had preschool 3 mornings a week which helped. Everyday is different and every babies different. Thanks for sharing your experience and the struggles. I’m sure other mamas can relate. I was never a fan of always baby wearing around the house. You got this! It’ll get better ❤️

Everyday can be so different, and I am thnakful for the seemingly 'easy' days. I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't love baby wearing all the time 😅

i hope this was because Paul didn’t have a choice. If not that’s absolutely horrible and i’m so sorry you had to go through that
@LifestylewithSarah9 ай бұрын
@@Moon_ally he didn’t have a choice as we wanted to use his vacation for actual vacation and didn’t have much. We also couldnf afford to have us both on maternity or parental leave and if he took parental leave I’d have to return t work before a year

Im sorry to hear that you are feeling super stressed. I appreciate you being real though. I can't even imagine how difficult it must be for you with 3 kids Including a newborn Since I feel Overwhelmed just having one newborn And balancing him along with exclusively pumping And supplementing due to my lower milk supply! We just have to remind ourselves that These difficult moments are just temporary are worth the struggle And just take it day-by-day or hour by hour whatever our minds can handle.
@AddieDwyer3 жыл бұрын
It is hard no matter how many you have and at what stage!! It's always a transition. Exclusively pumping is no joke!! Yes, it's all temporary, and SOOOO worth it

My son had terrible gas and condtipation we finally used the “windi” once I seen how well it helped us I ordered the Walmart brand which is so much cheaper price wise & the same quality wise . you aren’t suppose to reuse them Walmart’s version don’t come with instructions they come in large packs the windi I got as a bonus gift that came with the nose Frieda as a bonus gift and I finally tried it out because I wasn’t really for it my colic baby became a happy baby ..Prayers momma.

Don’t get emotional. We are all on the same page. My first two kids, after 8 weeks, I ran back to work. My breastfeeding and my body, my hormone were a mess. Those 8 weeks were my personal sick and annual leaves. It is crazy for this country to give zero effort to help parents. 😪😞

This country really is crazy in the way pre and post natal care and leave are handled. So sad

Thank you for this! I don't feel done having kids but I have a 9 year old and a 2 year old so I am trying to decide about the third since my 9 year old isn't a baby anymore, I'm wondering if it'll be much easier. If I get pregnant now I'll have a summer baby which is what I want and if I wait til next fall to get pregnant it'll give me an almost four year age gap between my second and third kid. I don't know if anyone feels 100% sure but I think I'm going to just go for it now because I want to be done- probably get my tubes tied.😂 good luck mama
