As the mom of 8, I can honestly say having 3 is the hardest....when we went from 3 to 4, it was somehow strangely easier and #5 hardly made a ripple in the dynamics of our family. I had 5 kids in 6 years, so they were very close together, then 5 years later (after being told I couldn't have any more) we had 3 more in a 5 year span. No matter how many you have, HAVE FUN! The time flies even on days you think it's dragging.

I have 3! 7 year old girl, 4 year old girl and 11 month old boy. I love it, and even though it is harder now splitting my time between the 3, seeing the love they all have for each other makes it so worth it. The older kids loose some one on one attention from us, but its made up with the love they gain from having another sibling. ❤

That’s exactly how I feel right now. We’re having boys ages 8yo, 3 yo, and 2 months. The oldest seems to have lost some attention, but he is at a stage where he can appreciate being alone for some time and he also knows to ask for attention when he really misses being seen and heard one on one.

I'm due with my third in 5 days, I have two girls and this one is a boy. People constantly say how I must be so happy that I got a boy which I am but I love having girls and totally wanted another one :) My husband works in health care and when he tells his patients that he's having a third most people ask if he's insane or that he must love punishment. People just say ridiculous things and you totally have to ignore them. Great video :)

Brodie Couch I just had my third (a boy) after two girls and people are always commenting on how we must be happy we finally have a boy, we would have been happy (maybe a teeny bit more) with a girl. I find family is the worse with comments and like to congratulate me on giving them a boy. Just have to smile and tell my girls to ignore them lol Also it's been easier to go from two to three kids then it is was going from one to two kids

My 3rd was by far my easiest baby, he just slotted into our routine, he didn't create any extra work as I was already doing it for 2, he was such a chilled and easy baby that i actually considered a 4th... But then.... he got to 3 ish and it was like some one had flipped a switch on my life and I realised that having 2 children and a BABY was a doddle but having 3 CHIlDREN is a different kettle of fish! 😂😂 now they are 11, 9 and 6 and man are they hard work! Just want to share that now I have four kids I look fondly back on having “just 3”. This is not to minimize the work of raising 3 children by any means, but having four is, no lie, that much more chaos. Having said that, it is also true that your heart grows even more than you thought possible when you have a fourth. I cried when I was pregnant with our youngest cause I worried about this! But our baby girl (near 6 yo now) is such a shining light, and brings so much joy to the family. xo

I describe it as busier, not harder. A lot of ppl ask me if its harder...no, busier! I find ppl forget that children grow and become more independent with time and can even help with the younger ones:) It’s a little crazy for a few years, then it becomes easier. We did a larger age gap between number 2 and 3, almost 5 years💁🏼. Now our eldest is 10, second is 8 and 3rd is 3...things are awesome right now and I love where we are at! Kids are becoming more self sufficient. Yes, we have become incredibly savvy with holidays, we just rent condos at some very lovely destinations or find all inclusives that allow for 5 and book flights during non peak seasons. It’s all good! You make it work💁🏼

We absolutely love having 3 crazies! It's wonderful to see their bond and friendship. I would have a couple more if we had the space and money! X

Jack has been in hospital this week with bronchiolitis and we’ve both had a sickness bug - safe to say one of the worst weeks ever. Constant mumspiration on your channel Emily and always a video to cheer me up! Thank you 😘 xxx

Great video and the music fitted so well in the background. These were really useful. I’m only 11 but I’ll definitely bare them in mind for the future.

Plus most parents are too dumb for three because most parents are too moron to know the middle child needs at least some positive attention.

I have 2 kids, a girl (3yo) and a baby boy (2mo). My boy loves the sound of your voice, he was hypnotized while I was watching the video. 😊 So yes, using technology is definitely a big yes for me as well. And thank you for being the voice that calms down my baby. ❤

Having a bank account for each kid and save whatever you can each month is making so much sense. My third is only two months and I must admit I didn’t think of that till now. Thanks for the inspiration

People are so STRANGE about going above and beyond two children, aren't they. People are always aghast that we're expecting baby five and that they were all planned and conceived by IVF even - it drives me bonkers. I know that your home is full of joy and love, and that you are more than enough parent for three little ones. You're doing great. xx

@@Anna-co3cd i hope your ok hun. If it makes you feel any better I had a 15 month old then gave birth to twin girls! 😂 so I had 3 children in a 15 months span. Also I have a 6 year old. So 3 babies have to come with me on the school run every day in a triple buggy its absolutely horrendous but somehow i do it 🙏🏻 You find your routine somehow honestly. Xx

Watch your videos all the time. Couldn’t pass up the opportunity to comment on this video. I also have 3 children ages 6, 5 and a 10 months old (2 boys and a girl in the middle). I just couldn’t agree with you more especially about ‘middle child syndrome’. You do however make it look so easy but I also like your honesty 😄. Keep those videos coming, they’re really helpful. From another mom in the uk 🤗

Love this video. New subbie. I have 2 boys, 5 and 3. I want to try for a third and final child this time next year. This was helpful.

I clicked on the right vid this morning. I am due next month with my third boy - all 3 years apart. I always worry that one kid may feel left out especially because my 2 boys have such a beautiful bond. It was nice hearing how easily the third one fits in. People do have negative things to say when they hear it's a third boy but I have embraced it and accepted that i won't have any girls.

This was so helpful! I really went back and forth on deciding whether or not to have a third. I'd always envisioned myself with 3, but was worried about trips, transportation (avoiding a mini van lol) and now I'm feeling a lot better about things :)

“Get ready for people saying dumb stuff” 🤣🤣🤣 So true... we’ve gotten to the point where we guess which of the three unimaginative phrases we’ll hear most on a day out. Love this video xxx

Hi Emily. Your boys are so sweet. You can tell that they have a special bond. I have two daughters and found the transition from one to two to be quite overwhelming, so can't imagine having a third at the moment. Will you make a video about babyled weaning? Jackson is eating so well. I'm impressed.

I would love an interview style video with your oldest about his experience with being the oldest and then ask the same questions again in a few years to see how his answers have changed.

Our 3rd baby ended up being a 3 months premature baby 🙈 it was super tough while in hospital but as soon as he came home - he has fitted in perfectly and has such a great nature. I don't know what sleep is anymore, but i agree that I don't feel I have extra work to do. Bit of an age gap does help too. 👍🏻
