For the past two years, air travel has been booming. And most airfares are nearing historic highs. But as prices rise…are there any alternatives to expensive flights? There are a number of carriers out there you probably have never heard of, especially for international flights. And their routes and best deals may not be readily apparent through the main travel search websites, but we found a few -- airlines like Mexico-based Viva Aerobus, Norway’s Norse Atlantic Airways or Zip Air for travel to Japan. And if you’re looking to get to Paris and some other destinations that might surprise you, there’s a relatively new carrier, French bee.

One of the worst carriers I've ever flown on. Rude airport staff, rude flight crew. Arrived at Paris airport 3 hours before flight and was told that the flight is overbooked and I'm now on standby! WHAT? Then, was told that they can not help due to the overbooking situation. Later, was told that I checked in too late and my ticket was no longer valid! WHAT? I was made to purchase another ticket for the next day at full fare. I contacted my credit card company when I finally got home and explained the situation and they told me that they get a lot of calls about this airline. My card company refunded my original ticket and the NEW TICKET and charged them back to the airline. French Bee never returned my calls, never responded to my emails and never contacted the credit card company. A terrible airline.

You pay for shit you get shit. Fuck no I would never sit in a 10 abreast a350. 9 abreast max. Imagine getting to your vacation in a fucked up state.
