Thanks, loved Crusader back in the day. I was usually renting it (from Blockbuster Video) for Playstation but I know the OG was for PC. The controls for PC seem very hard to get used to. My footage in this video is literally the only footage I got of my not walking into walls and falling into the water.

Thanks! It's a lot of fun to create. Since I have not played the game since the 90s I found the controls very hard to use especially because of the isometric perspective makes aiming sort of difficult. But at least I got a few clips of me actually hitting enemies lol

Nice! Which instruments have you used here? I mean, the synths sound like in the original track, I'm wondering which soundfont or instrument pack makes this sound?

All of the original instrument sounds are buried in the game's music file itself, which is true of all "tracker" format music. My remixes are a mixture of some of the original instruments along with new layers of modern-sounding instruments. The synth instruments here are the same instruments as the original but now juiced-up a bit with EQ, compression, effects, etc.

This one makes me imagine a remake of this game with better controls to make it more accessible. I feel that this game didn't age very well because of the bad controls it had.

Yes I agree, it was actually difficult for me to record the footage for this one because all I do is walk into walls and can hardly shoot straight. I'd like to try using a controller at some point but yeah it could use a nice remake cause it was an awesome game
