OH, FUCK YES. This is my favorite LucasArts game. Even more than Monkey Island stuff, or LOOM. THE DIG had a sense of wonder beyond anything else. This, this, this. A million times, this!

This was the first video game I ever played. My dad played it first and then let me play on our windows 95 desktop. The game was so captivating and I just got immersed into the gameplay. Best memories ever! What a gem of a game

IMHO the best videogame ever... Thanks for the huge job, it gave me goosebumps! Only one thing, I think, is missing (sorry ;) ): when seen from above, the Shuttle seems to be too bright and no tile can be seen. Other than that minuscule particular, your job was AWESOME!

I agree that this is some fine work and attention to detail. But considering the limited resources Lucas Arts had back in the day and their budget, I'd say that it was pretty well done considering. Compared to the resources available to paid designers and artists these days, I'd say this is very reflective of unpaid work.

I loved that game back in the days and I have been waiting for a remake on PC or even a movie. I remember reading that Steven Spielberg wanted to make it a movie but it was to expensive and that's how it ended up becoming a game but in todays time maybe a movie can be a an option. Amazing job on remaking this intro, to perhaps LucasArts' most underappreciated adventure game, 'The Dig'. Truly excellent work, though if I did have one minor nitpick, then it would be the overuse of the lens flare effect, or the "J.J." effect, if you will. However, overall; this is stunning work. This is amazing! I always wished that the alien landscapes had more resolution! Just one thing though, the scene where we see the underside of the shuttle is missing the thermal tiles, which are perfectly shown in the original. They got this detail right in the original ;-)

i would like to think otherwise. There's things like the LucasArts adventure pack, which, if they sold heaps of them it might make them think about trying to do a brand new original adventure game to try to create some new history. Like they sort of did with Grim Fandango which was a completely original idea that came very late in the piece.

Thanks --- How i did i do this? It's the same question i ask my self :) I basically move along as i work, and when it's done? I just move on to the next step, and say " How i'm gonna do this thing?" If you did this work for 20 years? It's just build it automatically.
