I actually enjoyed Picard season 2 overall. I like how Jean Luc's perception of his parents changed from the perspective that he had from his childhood. I also felt like it showed a really good storyline of how even with Earth being a paradise we as humans still deal with trauma and can suppress it. It made Pucard feel the most human since dealing with the fallout of being Locutus. Fully admit thought that there should have either been 2 more or 2 fewer episodes in the season though

_Picard_ throws too many plates in the air with the confidence that it'll be able to shoot them all. And in both seasons it just barely nicked one of those plates. It needs to scale back it's ambitions and just focus on one or two strong threads that can realistically be stretched over 10 episodes. And lay hell off the nostalgia. I'm not sure I like the idea that the Travelers are the Supervisors. I'd imagine that they were originally two completely separate groups, but at some point something happened that caused the Supervisors to be unable or unwilling to continue, and so the Travelers had to step in and take over to prevent the timeline from collapsing or something. Now that would make an interesting story. Also, I'm only halfway through book 2 of the Coda series, so thanks for avoiding spoilers for that.

You might need to be wise or hsve help to finish though. You didn't need to be a mutant or something. It was just part of Star Trek's idea of evolution that begins at primordial soup and ends at energy beings, and makes socity inevitablity more enlighted over time. Picard and ST TNG do not seem to be the same universe. Picard recognized his elderly mother in the original series. She died while he was a child in Picard. Ran away all the way to the stars
@Gunnar0012 жыл бұрын
They’re not the same universe. Kurtzman NuTrek is some wannabe JJ Trek garbage nightmare universe. It’s not compatible at all with real Trek.

@@Gunnar001 agreed its trash, which is a slight improvement over STD. Like how a broken arm is better than syphilis. An arm will heal.

Huh.... What if that was an elderly stepmother in TNG. I don't know if I could agree with ST:P and ST:TNG being divergent timelines or even alternate universes. That would mean the Star Trek writers are not doing their due diligence as far as keeping track of TV series canon.

Picard said in that episode, that he imagines sometimes his mother as an elderly woman, who drinks tea with him and have conversations. So that image of her in "Where no one has gone before" was just his imagination that has just become real for that moment. If you watched the episode, you would know that. So it's still the same universe. You can hate as much you want, it won't change this fact, Admiral Killjoy

I still haven't watched Picard Season 2. Notice I didn't add Star Trek to the title, just like the producers of that drek.
