This is exactly what people need to understand, I've been talking about this my whole life... Music wasn't supposed to be about egos, but unfortunately for most people out there that's what it turned into. Anyone who has to say something bad about Jean, should sit himself down and carefully listen to A-Lex, the drumming is insane, intense and perfectly technical. Jean, don't ever let assh0les get you down, You are the best drummer that Sepultura could have possibly had, you fit in perfectly. A-Lex is fantastic, 10/10 rating. Thats absolutely killer..Jean, u nailed it man..Trust me Kairos and A-LEX are on my top notch favourite Sepultura albums where Jean absolutely played each and every single heavy and groovy fills like a monster !!!!!!!...:) I play drums so I know Jean is a BEAST.. But I honestly miss him now in Sepultura....Hope and pray so that jeandolabella does hit blast with his side project INDIRETO...Cheers!! Akif

A-LEX one of the best albums of Sepultura, everything is very solid, cool in general is different from the albums of other bands which the innovation appears to having been finished. Of course Jean supporting 100% proved to be the right thing for SEPULTURA drummer. Inspire each time you see him playing. The best drummer !!!!!

My fav. song of all time! I like how you have different tuning on the bass drums. One a lil tighter than the other. Not many would dare but I have to say it sounds super awesome and originial and you def. know used it properly. My fav. new drummer!

@hangar1218 I saw Cavalera Conspiracy summer, 2008, Copenhagen. It was pretty awesome. But I like the New Sepultura more consistently than Soulfly and CC. Perhaps I prefer Max on vocals for the "Old Sepultura", but I definitely would prefer Derrick Green in my favourite "New Sepultura" records: Against, Dante XXI, A-Lex, and now Kairos! =) Jean plays the way you would expect for any groovy Sepultura song, if you ask me. And the New Sepultura doesn't need two guitars.

@barcepultura 2 very different drummers - Igor plays specifically off the bottom end, his sound is more tribal where Jean is playing higher up, has a more brilliant sound. Both drummers are energetic.I would say that Igor leaving Sepultura didn't hurt the band - but by joining Max, Igor literally saved Max's career because he was becoming forgettable. So you could say it was a win/win.

WILD DRUMTRACK...no more to say just one thing....people who keep talking shit about the cavalera's....stop it....please just enjoy what the seps have become....andreas is a more than skilled guitar player...paulo keep the rythm always...derrick is a huge monster who kills the stage with his voice...and jean is more than just a replacement is the obvious drummer that sepultura needs....so shut up and hear some of the a-lex and now kairos albums is just an amazing stuff ..technical...aggressive..
