the way I understand the last lines is that when the trees get out of the house and become a forest,the moon is barely visible due to the branches covering it partially. Hence the moon is broken like a mirror and this moonlight when seen at a distance looks like it has become the crown of an old tall oak tree which might symbolize how women have suffered for so long and they have still stayed strong, not giving up and hence wearing the moonlight which represents their struggle as a crown.

From what i understood is that when the poet mentions that the moon is like a broken mirror its like these: Mirror is a reflection of us, nd mostly we associate it with our past(mirror is a reflection of our past), now at the present the mirror is broken, likewise we can say the past is broken, nd to compare it with women we can say that the women r freed from their past , the past reflection is broken, nd that they r now freed. the crown of moonlight is formed from the oak tree, oak leaves r a symbol of heroism (history chapter 1) nd also strength nd durability, that also shaped their freedom nd their present self, so the oak trees(their heroism nd durability) shaped the crown 0:02 0:02

great interpretation. However I disagree with the whole "Mirror being a representation of our past" and "the past is broken" as they dont make any sense to me. How are mirrors a representation of our "past"? If anything, they could symbolise desire or change. And the past can never be "broken". It's always there. But i believe that they've used "the mirror is broken" just to give us an imagery of the oak tree standing infront of it since it's free (the women are free)

ig from my perspective, moon again symbolizes multiple women, which shines at night but is rigid in a single place, which is not in the vision of many during the day bcuz of the patriarchy, but is working all night to come out of her confined place. When it is finally done, all the women together come out of their original places and fall down to the tallest oak which is the man, symbolizing that now women are equal to the men
