Amazing base, I decided to make the gatehouses out of external tc's aswell just to cut some costs on the upkeep of the main tc which does help a bit. For the rest the base is identical and it is amazing!

Just finished the base on console, you can do every bunker except the 2 stair bunkers :(. All the other work just like in the video, the two roof bunkers you have to move around until the triangle frame is touching the roof of the bunker, if it doesn’t then switch the triangle roof that opens the bunker around and it will work.

I think it is a problem that makes us lead to thinking outside the box..... I have a possible update to the Grift but for Ocean / water bases that could remedy the 1 wall issue. But to be fair I think the funnels and other defensive countermeasures are worth the 1 wall tradeoff.

Finally a base I memorize and build. Survived wipe without a scratch and turret placement helped with the rest of the building. Thanks man! Update: Successfully defended an online. However, the major flaw in this base is the blindspots for the turrets. Raider managed to blow through gatehouse and run right past the turret pods.

Dust, I raided this base on a live server and a single MLRS strike took out all of the turret coverage as it destroyed the roof bunkers with the batteries in it. I would highly recommend looking for an alternative spot for the batteries as they are extremely vulnerable in their current location. The MLRS strike also disconnected both the TCs making it extremely easy to be griefed. Obviously I had a very well placed MLRS strike but just some things to think about in the future. Love your designs.

For the external tc, how can I find a flat ground to do all the square, or can I lift the squares while placing them, does it matter?

Future tip with the ramp loot rooms. Have the top ramp normal facing you and bottom ramp backwards, then replace the garage doors with window frames and upgrade it to sheet metal. If you do it like that then you can add more protection from the inside while the loot rooms still provide the same function. Garage door = 3 rockets. Window frame + HQM window and embrasure = 5 rockets. Just adds 2 more rockets to raid cost per loot room. Food for thought 🤷🏻‍♂️

You're welcome to do that, but I don't for a few reasons: - A metal window frame is equally as splashable as the metal ramps when rocketing out the garage doors behind it, so it adds no strength. - Metal window frames make it very difficult to seal from the inside during a raid. - Raiders who have TCs can pick up windows, reducing overall raid cost. - Windows require your teammates to replace them AND repair them every time, which always results in them being left open during an online raid or roam raid.

@@dustgg I’m not going to question your knowledge on bases since you’re the best in the business. I never thought about Raiders just snagging them if they got TC 😂. I usually try to set up externals early so maybe that’s why it’s different for me but most people probably wouldn’t do that.

If you guys want to add something simple but super impactful, put a crows nest on top of the base, using double door frame and rope wall to get to the top with a ladder hatch. Makes the base a bit harder to recognize and adds a ton of value during raids. If you are cheeky, you can put parachutes up there so if you die or kill someone from the nest you can parachute to the body or to the fight much faster than running out yourself. I recommend throwing beds and locker kits up there, with a spare T2 workbench with supplies to make bullets and meds, and also have HV rockets ready. I can’t stress how good of an addition this is to almost any base for defending online raids.

@@yaboyflvckor456 Hey man! I am terrible at making videos. I’ll try to describe it better! On the roof of this base, in the middle, put double door frames going up as high as you’d like. I try to make it as high as possible. On the frames, you can put rope walls on the frames enabling you to climb to the top, and from there you will entire the crows nest from a ladder hatch. At the top, you will want to make a room that you can shoot from, whether that is roof camping (for legal reasons I do not condone roof camping at all) or base defense. Throw a bed up there with locker kits. You’re really just making a big room in the sky to gain a bunch of elevation over your surrounding area. I like to make the actual room itself two floors, first floor is my bed/shooting floor, 2nd floor is a heli garage and SAM site or windmill.

the only thing I don't like about this base, is that you cannot remove tc from outers, due to the fact to the base build being shown to leave the triangle foundation onto the external while the base tour has no foundation so you are able to place one down to remove tc access. Just got offlined but cant resecure tc in base due to not being able to disconnect outers.
