Gabby was annoying. She tried to justify her friend acting like she didn't know the relationahip was on the rocks. Lyndsay is PR person. She was trying to spin the narrative before Carl. She was trying to paint Carl as having fallen off the wagon and not able to support them. Meanwhile they have exact same career. Lyndsay has recycled some old boyfriend for her next storyline.

i think people often forget that ariana’s call to production was at a point when cameras were completely down for VPR & scandoval was an actual blindside that was not a part of the main storyline of the season they had just filmed. to our knowledge at that moment in time, we didn’t know the extent of the relationship issues that ariana and tom had. on the other hand, carl & lindsay’s engagement and tumultuous relationship were a HUGE part of the last two seasons, specifically the current season they were filming. it was clear from that last weekend at the house, there was no resolution to the constant fighting over the entire summer and in particular that fight from that weekend. it makes sense in a production pov to check in with carl and lindsay to see where they are to see if they were able to resolve that fight. ESPECIALLY if lindsay was banking on a wedding special for their destination wedding, i doubt they would have completely put the cameras away or for production to go completely down because at the end of the day, their marriage was still a part of the huge story line of this most recent season.

God me too! I absolutely loved how Kyle called her out on everything too. And with the whole career stuff too she just embarrassed herself. I can't understand the hate and vitriol Carl has had. He's not publicly bashed her which he blatantly could have done to justify calling off the wedding, inspite of Lindsay completely rearranging the truth. Her levels of delusion are breathtaking! I'm glad Carl is getting on with his life and crushing it!

These might be the most sound takes I've ever heard--to look to the cast, who's actions, thoughts, etc have been ones you have trusted to date--as a lens of how to distill what we are watching, genius. Sadly, this ONLY works for summer house, because it's the only show that has Paige. And Paige currently lives on my VERY TALL reality TV pedestal, and if I'm honest, my GENERAL REAL WORLD pedestal, because her awesomeness, is not limited to a reality TV bar, it would be insulting. I would have to sit long and hard about who else might be a reliable narrator, curious who else you might consider Paige level reliability? I've never heard this take before, and never thought this way myself, but it's the most strongest method (which seems to obvious, yet, no one else has said this I don't think) for finding out who's authentic and the real villian. Anyyway, you've hooked me, officially in the top 3 podcasts who's hot takes I wanna hear!

And ALSO, Amanda being so steadfast just took me down a new hole, and I agree. BUTTTTTTT then I think about her potential credibility and ability to be swayed, her credibility isn't as high for me as Paige, because I COULD see Amanda being swayed by conversations from Kyle in her ear. Kyle might somewhat be like the Lisa Vanderpump of this situation and Carl is Tom, and he's got some vested interest in Carl, for his alcohol line. So that becomes potentially not reliable. This is my new lens (thanks!). So we're back to Paige, no other bravo show has the purity of reliable narration as we get with Paige.

They have redemption on a silver platter (Lindsay almost successfully brainwashing us all), but they can't control themselves to not f*&* it up, when given too much time to talk outside the script already created.

I keep having to pause to comment. Is it me? Or was Andy (very) low-key calling Carl dumb (though not the right word), when he asked if he knew his parents would say all that etc etc. As if he was reminding the audience, that Carl isn't the type of person who would be smart enough (and I don't like it said this way, I think Carl is smart, but I'm not diabolical smart) to do this. Auchans razor, peeps. Who is likely smarter at executing a plan to manipulate the audience? Carl, who couldn't keep a job in sales, or Lindsay who ran her own PR business? Disclaimer: I don't think Carl is dumb, not do I think that people who don't try to manipulating others are either (this is what I think Andy was trying to do).

I think Lindsay, like VPR producers, underestimated the audience, but is at this current state more successful at it. But her greatest flaw, like Lala and Tom. She's going to KEEP talking about this, and her true colours will show.

This reunion episode SUCKED! Yet again, the network covered for Kyle’s shit behavior, and pulled an aw shucks on Wes and Carl. Lindsay has issues and doesn’t accord herself well, but why is Bravo hell bent on HATING the female cast members? I’d have been happier if they acted like Carl did ANYTHING wrong at all (you’ve clearly not dated a passive aggressive person if you don’t get how Carl has a martyr complex). And I say that as someone who never thinks Lindsay does the right thing

I’ve never been a Lindsay fan and didn’t even like her this season except for a handful of moments. But even I thought it was annoying. I’d be ok with Carl fighting with her but it was everyone else. Listen to Watch What Crappens. They are opposite of these two which is great!
