OMG - this took me so far out of my comfort zone… I thought my effort was pretty rubbish, but I always find that if I take a photo of it on my phone and look at later I find “something” (even a tiny detail), I love. Often, I cut these bits out and keep them - they may be postage stamp size), then use the back of the rest of the paper for testing colours. I came back to my photo - and it was actually much better than I initially thought. And the car on the left behind the red car was AMAZING! Thank you, Liron. You always manage to get me out of a funk when I wonder why I continue to do watercolour! ❤

It’s so cool to see how quick that scene comes together. We really over think how much detail we need in our paintings. I love this approach to painting. But I’m also looking forward to your hyper realistic video too. ❤thank you for sharing. Have a blessed day. 🙏🏻

Thank you so so much ☺️ This was great fun, I definitely want to see how far I can take the looseness while still being somewhat accurate with the result I envision.

I strive in my own paintings to be loose and get the general shapes and color and let the eye build the rest. I have always appreciated your minimalist style.

Yes I love this video. I often remind myself that an object or scene can become easily recognizable with just a few brushstrokes. Thanks Liron!

That's a wondeful insight actually...! One is often so close to the impression they're after, they are just unaware of it / can't see it 😊

Wow, Liron! I think I'm finally beginning to "get it," and this video has really helped. Why does it take some of us so long to get these concepts through our thick heads, ha! Only a couple months ago I finally "got" the concept of values, and it only took me a few years of knocking my head against the wall! I think the part about painting loosely that has escaped me is not knowing what marks to make that suggest realism without painting tightly and collapse into overdoing it. I really appreciate your analytical mind and ability to translate your conclusions into explanations, so maybe you have some tips on that? Yes, more short loose watercolor vids, please, and thank you! I will sign up for your course.

Thank you so much!! That is indeed a common struggle, and I can definitely relate. I think it takes a while to understand concepts, but then it also takes a while to build a VISUAL language for yourself (: Meaning how YOU personally see things, what YOU want to communicate to those who will see the art etc... So glad this helped and huge thanks for watching!🙏😊

Great type of video, Liron(!)😊 thumbs up!👍🏼 I found the content very useful and your way of explaining just engaging and real and awesome… like-always! It’s so great that you share your abilities and knowledge so widely and are cognitively self-aware of your audiences’ demographic differences, preferences, interests and levels of skill, confidence, trust in process/self/universe/fill_in_the_blank. Additionally/And, you are also just-Liron in the most personable and convivial way with all you do from your studio shared on youtube and patreon with the world in the midst of, shall we say, Our World and leave it at that, as code-enough for the whirl around us to be noted but here not-dwelt-upon. So from me to you and the comment readers - just look (AMAZING! 😊) how in 35 seconds with 4 strokes “the second car just emerges” 3:15-3:50 - and join me in saying, again: Thank You Liron for sharing your art and you yourself with the world. You are loved and treasured!

Thank you so so much Eric!! 🙏😊 The kind words & encouragement mean a lot to me. And definitely more so in these crazy times. I always tried for this channel to be some kind of an escape for others. Purely about the art, what surrounds it and how I'm feeling about it (: Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart ♥
