It was foggy like that when we were at Schoodic as well. It reminded us of the movie The Mist!! 😱 Those tide pools are way cooler than the ones we saw there. Great footage! 😉 We actually got kicked out of the National Park Campground-but that’s a whole other story…… 😳😜🤣

Thank you for this series! We are coming to the east coast in Sept and Oct from Wisconsin. Newly retired we will spend a week in Nova Scotia and a week around Acadia National Park. Watching your videos is getting me even more excited about our trip. So many great tips. You have a beautiful wonderful family. How fortunate your girls are to have such loving adventurous parents and how blessed you are to share these experiences with them.

With you guys always on the road. Why don’t you get a 5th wheel, or even a 5th wheel toy hauler? I know it’s a lot of money, but it has bigger holding tanks and you can dry camp more comfortably.
@FindingOurSomeday Жыл бұрын
It’s not about money. It’s about the way we like to travel, and how we travel. Hight is almost never an issue, we have big storage(because of the layout and the fact we still have the bed of our truck) . A bigger rig cuts down on the amount of available sites we can fit in especially since many of our plans are last minute. Our tanks are actually pretty good for the size rig . 34B/60FW/80G

The fog reminds me of Lake Superior, when I rode up to Grand Portage. Man it was cold up there. 42deg for 165 miles. Seemed cold in Maine, yet Beautiful like Superior.

Love your videos. Cory and water remind me of my brother and the beach....you couldn't take that boy near water. There could be 20 of us and he would be the only one who got wet. I grew up 40 minutes from Bodega Bay so we went to the beach alot. Its my favorite place on earth. The sound of the waves, the salt air and wind...nothing better❤❤❤

OMG we had the same fogged in weather when we were there in 2016! My aunt and uncle live in Winter Harbor in the summer. We were dazzled by the variation in rock…ancient magma just randomly on the Maine coast. Then I nerded out and researched for hours lol

You mentioned Haceta Head lighthouse in oregon. We stayed there at the bed and breakfast back in 2000 ish. Did you know the light keepers quarters that the bed n breakfast is usingnis haunted. We experienced the ghost while.we stsyed their. It was really freaky. However when we were there the ocean was churning up all this foam feom the rough surf. It was really cool.

Is there a special reason for having your slide out about 2 ft? I have noticed this a lot in your videos.
@FindingOurSomeday Жыл бұрын
Our slide goes out 3ft. Are you referring to our awning? If so we leave that out 3 or 4 feet if we’re worried about wind. The wind doesn’t seem to affect it at the amount and we still get some shade/rain protection.
