I cannot thank people like you enough. To look for something completely niche and find a breakdown is such a God send. So yeah, thank you for this video kind sir, it’s very much appreciated!!!

Thank you! You saved the day. I could not slide those two side panels off for the life of me until you showed this trick. Nobody else mentions this. Also, when replacing the brew group on the Jura Z6 people need to be aware that the brew group comes in two different versions. The earlier model and the new P.E.P. model. The part numbers and sizes are different for both. Something to be mindful of when ordering replacement parts.

Wow! Legend. Thank you so much, never thaught anything so niche would be on youtube!

Thanks. If almost anything is broken, look fist on KZbin - there's likely a video for that! Glad you found it helpful. BTW, videos like these don't pay a penny to the creators until they have at least 1000 subscribers, so please consider subscribing to this and other channels you find helpful. Thanks!

Great video. Thank you! I've had my Z6 for 4.5 years now and time to replace the rotary dial as it's just totally flaking out. Curious if you had to replace or do any other internal maintenance to yours, like a brew unit tune up (I've never done this). Thanks.

I keep getting the empty beans message, I slide the tray out, dump the coffee water and bean tray and lide back in. It is accepted for about a second than I get the empty tray again. Very frusterating. Jura says to leave the tray out for an hour and slide in which usually works but I want my morning coffee NOW not in an hour. Is there a hack to turn the messages off to prevent it from messaging me so many times?

The fluid sensor at the back of the drip tray is probably wet. Try emptying the tray and removing the flat plastic horizontal cover to expose the 2 metal contacts at the back of the tray and then dry them with paper towel or a dry cloth. This has solved it for me. Please let us know if it works for you!

I have this Z6, and the PCB wont power on because an IC located at Q49 had blown off. I was wondering if anyone know what is the label on that MOSFET? Thanks

What size are those proprietary screws and can you tell us where you bought them on Amazon? Thx
@brantz_myers3 жыл бұрын
The heads of the screws are proprietary - slightly oval. I didn't need to buy any of them - they were already in the machine, but I needed to buy the proprietary driver. The vendor is in the video description and I also mention it in the audio as well.
@andrewlian31803 жыл бұрын
Can you share with me what is the proprietary driver called
@brantz_myers3 жыл бұрын
@@andrewlian3180 Its called the "Jura Oval Head Key" and is the first thing you will see on the main page of the parts vendor listed in the vid description.

Thanks Brantz! Do you have any video on fixing the system when trying to add the cleaning tablets and when you do it doesn’t register and thus one cannot clean the system ?
@brantz_myers3 жыл бұрын
@@andrewlian3180 I have had that happen. First I made a little hose to attach to a vacuum cleaner to grab the tablet and remove it, then I pulled out the little funnel which forms the top of the tablet entry port. Simply removing it and replacing it fixed the problem. Maybe I should make a video on that ;)

Thanks for the informative video. I just ordered a Z6. I'm hoping I paid more to get a machine that will work trouble-free for years, but we'll see. Where can you buy Jura repair parts? Does Jura sell them on their website? Thanks.

The parts source is in the video description.

Appreciate the video, very helpful. I have an issue where hardly any coffee dispenses. I did cleaning didn't help so now doing descale and hoping it helps. Have you experienced this with yours?
@brantz_myers3 жыл бұрын
I have not experienced that. It does sound a bit like clogged lines from calcification. Hopefully the descale process helps!

@@brantz_myers it did help some, but what helped more was cleaning the screen underneath the brew group by the drain valve. I just order repair kit for brew group and going to do further maintenance on it. I think I've had this around two years so probably needs some tlc.
