I don’t think it’s just a coincidence that when Susan Twist heard “The Trickster” said, she immediately started transforming, it was like a trigger word. Also, that music theme for Ruby is undeniable!

Even though the new episode says it’s sutekh. I still think that the trickster could in the plot because in the time window it looks like the hooded figure (or ruby’s mom) is crying or laughing. Then the “ruby’s mom” randomly starts pointing at the doctor.

Also in the wedding of Sarah Jane the doctor describes the trickster as a member of the “pantheon” who got in from the edge of the universe - exactly how the pantheon of chaos like the toymaker got in due to the events of WBY. Honestly this doesn’t feel like a theory anymore, it’s pretty much confirmed. Just seems weird though for RTD to be calling back to a doctor who spinoff from nearly 20 years ago in his reboot of doctor who for new audiences

I theorize that The-Trickster, is either Ruby Sunday’s uncle, or he’s a former ancient friend of her birth mother. Now I theorize Ruby Sunday’s, biological mother, has many powers, and one of them is shapeshifing. I also theorize that it was a friend, of Ruby Sunday’s birth mother, who was the one the dropped her off, at the church when she was a baby. In addition I theorize that friend, of Ruby Sunday’s birth mother, is the half sister of The-Trickster, and I imagine she hates her brother.

I really hope that with this 'universe' Davies teased of additional shows, one of them will be structured like Sarah Jane Adventures, these local guardians of Earth against alien incursions, and not in the overly edgy 'badass' Torchwood way, super intrigued how that Silurians/Sea-Devils series ends up, perhaps it will sort of mimick the Pertwee era of people driving around to parts of England being attacked, maybe they can take a page from UFO (1970)

The Trickster's motivation in his first appearance on SJA was to use Sarah Jane to get to the Doctor, which ultimately failed, so The Trickster then turned his focus onto Sarah Jane as pseudo-revenge. However, now that Sarah Jane is canonically gone in the show's universe, it's entirely possible the Trickster has gone back to his old motive of attempting to erase The Doctor directly. (This wouldn't even be his first attempt, Turn Left was a result of the Trickster's Plan which ultimately only failed because of Rose and Donna)

I wonder if 'The Trickster' is a renegade Time lord. He certainly follows the same naming convention: *The* Doctor; *The* Rani; *The* Master, *The* Meddling Monk. But that's probably just my obsessive viewpoint. I have a head canon, the villains from the Monk Trilogy, were also time lords. Their need to be invited to intervene seems quite Gallifreyan. Anyway, one day I could be right.

I completely agree that the trickster is behind rubys birth, but I think that might be the series two finale, because rtd said the ruby Sunday mystery would span both seasons and not much has indicated the seasons one finale will include the trickster.But your spot on with these clues

Full Blown Tinfoil Hat mode but hear me out... The Trickster is about to remove The Doctor and Mel so the memory TARDIS takes them before he can. Forcing 15 to remember 10 confronting him and telling him his personal future (Trickster hints at The Doctor being a member of the Pantheon for the Life/Death Cycle), maybe harnessing Artron Energy/Regeneration Energy to break The Trickster's connection to Ruby. Murray likes musical cues so it seems likely. Also Luke works for UNIT, last known location on their SPACE STATION, and Clyde could've taken the puzzle box from the Memory TARDIS (Could also be given to Mel to protect her), the puzzle box from the attic is unaccounted for after the Death of Sarah Jane, I believe. I hope Rani has it. But that's like miracle level things

They'll have to start showing 'the one who waits' soon. I suspect this rebooted universe won't rely on lore from a spin-off show to which Disney don't have the rights. I do like the theory, though. Russell will have to do more than vaguely hint at their existence to build them beyond the vague references. 'Could' is a wonderfully vague word, especially in a fantasy show like Doctor Who.. Anything 'could' happen, but for a satisfying pay off, we need to feel the menace and the raw power of the Big Bad, to understand why they're more dangerous than those the Doctor faced along the way. It's great to see the fanbase reinvigorated, and speculating, so much more fun than anything that happened under Chris' run.

DESTINATION SKARO and davros with daleks. also their is a video from ep 8 filming set when doctor and mel run on scooter from that smoke somebody on background scream "its the daleks,the daleks". but i 100% not sure rtd and crew can be just baiting.

Its not an episode trying to diminish racism or excuse it. Its an episode exploring how The Doctor must acknowledge a new dimension of this regenerations external expression and how it effects his efforts to help others....
