The troll face with pinching emote came from when xqc and greek played the isle (Open world dinosaur game) and he was going on and on about dinosaurs (snipers) coming upto him and greek trying to biting them so chat came up with the nodders pinching emote implying they wanted a little nibble. It was spammed throughout the chat anytime he would play the isle so im guessing thats how some chats have changed the way they do the combo together

Okay I don't read get how LCS is structured. Like do these teams just play eachother randomly? I feel like just tons of best of ones don't mean much no? Is it like the best teams from this in terms of games won are the ones that move on to like a more normal tournament later?

It is a double round robin format with the top 8 teams moving on to playoffs which is a double elimination for the top 6 teams and a single elimination for the 7-8 seeds. Top 3 there for to worlds

@@matt5714 actually, this spring split has a triple round robin. new format. so yeah to be exact all the teams will play each other 3 times this spring split. then as matt said the top 8 will go to a "normal tournament" playoffs

They do BO1 roundrobin because of viewership numbers, ensuring each day every team play so viewer can always cheer for their favorite team. It offers less competitive integrity but more profit I guess.

Doublelift is correct about the attack speed thing. Tier 2 boots give 35% attack speed, that’s 1.35 times faster than where you were before tier 2 boots. Say you get +35% on top of that. That’s 1.7 times where you were at before tier 2 boots and 1.7/1.35=1.259 times where you at after tier 2 boots but before the additional +35%. That’s why the first +35% from the tier 2 boots “feels” like you’re getting more attack speed than if you were to get another +35% on top of the first 35%.

this reasoning is correct but the numbers are abit off, there are attack speed modifiers, meaning when you buy (the first) 35% attack speed, it is actually multiplied by a ratio first, most champs have around 0.7 ratio, so you will instead get around 24.5%. If you hover over attack speed, you will be able to see the ratio, this is why champions like senna can build a lot of attack speed and still have very low attack speed.
