Kriemhild also has an NP drain, albeit on her first skill with a CD of 6 turns at max level. And her OC is Arts resist down for 3 turns, base 25%. She is also story-locked, whereas Galatea is permanent.

Been planning on making Gala my dedicated single target DPS for a while. Sure, Vlad is slightly stronger after his next buff, but that's only until she eventually gets her first NP buff. Add to that her incredible utilities like NP delay, full party cleanse for three turns, debuff immunity, strong debuff resistance, and the brave chain with natural buster buff, then she clearly blows him out of the water. I also don't buy Krem being better, either, as she lacks many of these perks and her hits are far inferior for looping NP (even with the 50% battery). I've considered and reconsidered many times in anticipation, but just keep coming back to Gala as my preferred of the three.

Galatea carried me through almost all the story boss fights upto lostbelt 6. She is just amazing boss killer

Galatea might be nice to have, but my Akihabara rolls are going to Nero Bride. I dropped about 700 Quartz trying to get her on her last banner, and the only 5-star I got was my 3rd copy of Osakabehime. This time, I've got 900 Quartz with Brides name on them. She won't be dodging me this time, though I will reluctantly be only going for NP1 because of the big support units coming later this year.

So happy I managed to pull her after dumping like 150ish SQ on CU alter and Vlad banners before her. Her NP drain ability can double up with Tamamo and can save Castoria NP on certain situations. Her heal also kinda balances out the damage of Black Grail.

I _might_ roll for Bride. Another support is always useful, and I do not have any single-target sabers (much to my chagrine the last few events) who loop all that well. On the other hand, LB6, Koyanskaya, Oberon, and Summer 6. Geh.

i am going to go for morgan as my berserker, and with the viability of buster i think she will be for at least a while.

I gathered resources to ensure I get her, she will be my wildcard against riders and assassins, I was lucky to get Castoria so I'm going to build my account around her. Thank you for the tips.

I really like her, and I want to have her at some point on NA since NA is my main account, but she spooked me in my JP account already, so the pressure to roll for her isn't there

I wouldn't mind stumbling upon her. Nice design and certainly good qualities. Even considering Vlad's buff she's got her appeal. The ally debuff clear is nice, the buster np charge can be helpful, and she's got survivability. So I can totally see why people would want her. But yeah, got nothing to spare right now. Personally, will probably have to push trying to get Morgan and Summer Kama until 2024 because I'd need insane luck to get everyone I'd like this year. It's just too packed to roll for Galatea.

Actually, her having the Crit Reduction vs. Assassins on her 3rd Append is more useful than you might think. In FGO, different enemy classes tend to have a higher chance to perform a critical hit than the other ones, and Assassin enemies are right up there as the class with the highest chance to land a crit. Considering that you very much can bring Galatea to any boss fight (except for Foreigners ofc), this Anti-Assassin Append might just save you a run. Of course, it's still rather niche, and I'd always recommend to level Mana-Loading first, but since her Solo is just okay, I think there's an argument to be made about unlocking Append 3 over her Extra-Attack one.

I like galatea and her big pants, I just like kriemhild more + this year is stacked with who I must roll, her being non limited makes her banner a ez skip to me.

she was the better vlad for about 2 months. Vlad then got buffed again, and she is now completely outclassed. she's still good though, and if she's your waifu then obviously roll for her over the meta pick.

Vlad got more dmg, got extra guts, but galatea has nice utility - she can tank high dmg and help her allies to stay on battleground for some turns

​​​@@scares3859 i find the extra guts useless most of the time. It's only for one turn and it's kind of useless to use guts just before a np. It can be useful for solo, but Vlad on his own is a hero i find very underwhelming despite his numerous buffs
