For those commenting on their infant carseats and being rearfacing. It is safest to rearface until the child meets the rearfacing height and weight limit of their specific seat. There is no magic age to forward face. Some infant seats support kids up until 40lbs and 40in rearfacing. So if the boy's are within those limits and head clearance is within 1 inch to the top of the seat, they are safer rearfacing than they are forward facing.

THANK YOU!!!! So much misinformation. People literally do not do their research at all and it drives me crazy. 😵‍💫 They’re still in the height and weight requirement for these seats. Not only that but it’s WAY safer for them to rear face as long as possible. I am involved with a car seat safety group who are CERTIFIED. They’re not even 30 pounds yet. Their car seats go up to 35. 🙄

@@thefullerfamaren’t their heads an inch or less from the top of the seats though? It looks like it in this video. My daughter is just over a year and short for her age and her head is already getting too close to the top of the seat. She is rear facing in a convertible car seat now.

Those sweet boys are SO precious! I'm afraid I would be one of "those people" to stop you and admire the preciousness. I had to deal with the same thing thirty years ago when my twins( I lost their triplet sibling,) were little. It's hard to believe that they're old enough to go to pre-school! God is good!❤🙏🎊

How emotional seeing them starting school now! My son is almost 5 and autistic and I started him in school at 3. It was the best decision I ever made and his growth is amazing! I hope they have a great time at school!

I see them going to preschool...I know there had to be times when you prayed to God to just let us get through the day/night and look now...preschool. They will love it but there will be alot of chaotic mornings. My daughter has 3 boys...13, 6 and 5. Each one at a different school/times...everything. Being a parent this is what we do and in time when you look back you will wish you could do it all over again :) As a grandmother I can vouch 100% you will.

I agree the 2 boys are still in height and weight of their infant car seats but you need to ensure that the straps are not twisted at all, they were twisted on Daxton when going to the preschool. The carseat Ezra is in is only for forward facing, you would need a different one for rear facing him that is a forward facing 5-point harness seat not an all in one which is what you can rear face in. A rear facing seat needs more recline then the one he is currently in as it is not for rear facing. Ezra's headrest is also way too high up. Not trying to spread hate just trying to inform.

I appreciate your approach on this. Agree on the straps and headrest. However ezrahs seat is indeed a rear facing car seat. It’s actually one of the ones you can grow and use as rear, forward, and a booster seat. I still have the box and the safety manual. I am in a car seat safest group that has car seat technicians who have approved Croix and Daxon’s sears but Ezrahs was actually done at the hospital!

Britax actually has a new model out that is up to 50 pounds rear facing and then after that it turns around for front facing. I keep them rear facing as long as I can. Might be an option for the next car seat

So cute.., on your 2 boys in the infant seats. They have outgrown them. They need an inch by the head and their heads are all the way to the top. You need to get the grace convertible seats and you can still rear face them until 50lbs. You are all awesome parents. Love the preschool

Teacher here- no one is commenting about buying school supplies x3. While yes they can afford it why do they need supplies for a preschool. (Maybe tissues and wipes ok). Schools need to provide more for teachers. It’s getting so crazy.

Its so good to see you guys out of the house! Im sure you go out a lot with them but just dont record it! Bc Im always thinking do these kids ever go anywhere?? Lol you make these cute thumbnail pictures of them outside or playing on swings or just doing sruff in the outside world so i think thats what we are about to see in the video but then its never in the video! It’s extremely hard to film when we go out because we are using all hands to keep them from running off or into danger or getting hurt etc. But with 2 parents who work full time and the extreme medical needs/ equipment, no we don’t get out more than once a week or so. However, preschool is a very positive experience for them and they do that 4 days a week now. Dad and I take them out on the weekends. It will hopefully get easier as they lose some medical equipment. They go outside almost every day though and do lots of fun activities.

As a preschool teacher, I have parents purchase a 3” binder at the beginning of every school year. I file their art work and special things they make in them for the entire year. The last week of school their personal binder goes home for mom and dad to have . Sending art home daily tends to get lost or bent.

Here in Norway and Sweden, we have car seats that allow children to sit rear-facing up to the age of 6. And almost everyone has their children rear-facing for 4 years. So for me it is shocking when I see that people in other countries have 1-year-olds facing forward. 🤯 We have so much knowledge today regarding car safety.

He’s not on a ventilator anymore but he sometimes still needs oxygen. It really just depends on his needs from day to day. Some days he breathes fine without any oxygen, some days he needs the oxygen. It just depends on him!

You’re not stupid! Thank you for asking instead of assuming I don’t know how to parent my children 🩷 they are not at the height or weight requirement to move car seats yet and it’s a pretty hefty expense (of course). I am in a car seat safety group with people who are certified through the highway patrol for car seat safety. It’s best practice and safest for kids to rear face as long as possible. Until they hit the max to rear face. They’re still VERY small. I urge you or anyone else who has questions to research why it’s safest to rear face as long as you can 🫶🏼 thank you for being respectful!
