The Triumph Rocket arrives in Cornwall. I push out the Harley Davidson Sport Glide to compare them both side by side.
We then take a ride into Falmouth on the huge Triumph.

I think a Rocket must be the motorbike equivalent of driving a Ford Raptor or suchlike, enormous size and power, but surely a stressful experience as a daily driver in the UK?

One of the biggest surprises for me was how easy to ride the Rocket is once on the move, and I'm 5'5" and 10 stone !! The 2nd was when Triumph decided to bring out a 2nd Gen bike and not let it die when the original had run it's course! It's a wonderful exercise in excess and the ultimate middle finger to Green tyranny, not something most manufactures want to associate themselves with these days.👍

Freddie and Monika, always a pleasure to find another uploaded video, the quality and the content always top notch. As much as the video length is appropriate, I always find I am wanting more... great to spend the time with you both. That bike Freddie... it seems too large of an animal and understandably a huge head turner of a bike. I am interested to understand the bike you would choose between them both, I see you more of an old school type bike... but let's see what you find... 99.9k subs, should be much more than that given the quality.. roll on the 100k and then onwards and upwards. Awesome... thanks Freddie and Monika.... until the next one.

The Rocket is certainly unique, and I rather like it, but I wonder if it’s a bike you could live with day to day in the way you could with the Harley?. It’s a shame Triumph did not put a reverse gear on it like Honda did on the Goldwing as it appears that it would have made ownership more manageable. Looking forward to more Rocket content.

Glad you got a chance to try the Rocket 🚀 Freddie. A pity they didn’t supply you the GT for M but I preferred the 3R for handling. Had mine for 18mo and 9000 miles. You’ll recall our chats about mine and I probably still have some flashbacks about slow manoeuvring that beast, you learn gravity is your friend and your enemy. A great GT but find yourself stuck needing to turn on a small gravel road a stressful affair. Def one for riding with chunky boots! But once on the move I’ve never ridden anything more special, or effortless to cover ground and handled like a big street triple (and faster than one straight line), like a 2 wheel Bentley, enjoy it .. but I will put my money 💰 on that you prefer the more relaxed Harley. 😂I laughed from Monika's laugh, good one, Rocket is an absolute beast, so muscular but elegant lines, they're the type of bike that looks sexy just parked. I've owned a Ducati Diavel 1260s & loved it in so many ways but it was a bit too much for doing long trips on and I did a 3k mi here in the States. They can be a challenge to maneuver at slow speeds however once you get them moving they are a blast, and the torque is insane! First of all I wish to congratulate you & lovely Monika for soon to be reaching the 100,000 club. You both deserve an applause for your great efforts as your videos are excellent. 2nd & just my own opinion; I think it's insane to produce bikes like the Rocket & the Boss Hog. Who the hell needs or can use this much power? But that seems to be what a good amount of people want- can't get enough power! Not to mention all of this gizmo shit! More power, more gizmos, more price. What else could we wish for? How about a magic carpet that you can set for any speed & was so soft that we would never feel the slightest bump on our frail asses. You get the picture! P.S. That split fender looks like ----

The power is irrelevant, it's about the creamy torque. I didn't buy a 6 cylinder car with 500nm for the power, rather for the low down effortless smooth drive. It's similarly why you'd buy a Harley.

I hate to be the first to inform you, but it is relevant to the increased cost of these machines today. Same as with the outboard marine engines. Have you checked out how the prices of the outboard motors go up as the engines get bigger. So don't try to justify your reasoning with a line of bullshit. It's people like you & so many others that have to have 5 damn riding modes to make up for their lack of skills. Their the group responsible for driving these g.d. prices out the roof. Too many people today cannot be happy with something simple. Big is always better- right!! @@samsara3694

My second car was a golf but mine had a straight bumper about 30 years ago, I think I saw Ruby rides riding the Triumph Rocket a few months ago, Monica's very subtle and cute when she said or it could be Calais meaning not Canada 😅😂

Purchased my 1st ever bike this year, a Triumph. They had a Rocket in the shop, not my style but I loved the madness. It has a great face and beautiful playful looking eyes. It's cartoonish. Never say never..... 🤔😬
