@@FollowerOfTheLight2782 verse 16… kind of goes along with Genesis 1.. in the beginning scripture says God YeHoVaH, (not yet a Father) was present with the holy spirit… then he spoke LET THERE BE LIGHT. Johns gospel tells us who that light is.. before the foundation of the earth, he was present for all creation… sent from (now), The Father.

I believe in God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Ghost. But there is much mystery here. We see in part, we know in part and we see through a glass darkly but in the resurrection we will see face to face, we will know even as we are known. Until then a great longing to know the way we have been promised. From the conception of Jesus in the womb of Mary, I understand his deity. If that which is born of flesh is flesh and that which is born of the spirit is spirit then that which is born of God is God. It’s before the conception of Gods son in Marys womb that knowledge is darkened for me. Psalm 2 says “Today I have begotten you, today you have become my son” which also says that “ today I have become your Father “. Nowhere in the Old Testament do I see the son of God other than in prophetic passages. Even Peter says that the prophets searched intently to see what manner of person and when this would happen but they found nothing! Paul says in Philippians that Jesus who existing in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God, etc. and john says that “ In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.” I truly believe this doctrine of the Trinity but truly do not have full knowledge and anyone who says “they do” are not being truly truthful. There is mystery! I believe in the mystery!
