+VoxxyMC They are all pretty old, so that's probably why all were kinda one of the first, I don't recall super younger races to be born later and be significant, with exeption of humans. I'm not an expert in lore but if I were to guess, I would say, from oldest to youngest: Trolls, Tauren, Night Elves, Humans, from the most important ones. But that's just my wild guess.

Night elves and goblins are descendant of trolls, orcs and draenei are from another planet, worgen are a race of human that were infected; so yeah there a bunch of them that are younger

Thingis in a comic the first troll priest did worship the light. He was discovered in a abandoned church and wasent killed due to the paladins sensing his light given blessing. While yea most troll priests are likely loa you can't rule out light worship as was the case in the first recorded troll priest , don't remember the comic it was a wow one through

"Light" is a type of magic derived from faith. "The Light" is what the Alliance races call it when dealing with priests or paladins. "The Holy Light" is the name of the main religion of the Alliance. The way Trolls cast the Light is not the same as humans. Humans follow their Three Holy Virtues and, in time, their faith in them gives them the ability to cast spells. Trolls put their faith in the loa, and that faith ultimately manifests itself as Light magic. But it has nothing to do with the philosophies of the Holy Light, which is a specific religion. *from the WOW forums* But it seems logical.. Kind of... o.O

He literally referred to it in the same way a human does, he was also descirbed as insane. The paladins said the light blessed him; unless the this reference of the light as a Loa is true Its the human light

Ah but in the comic the Troll learned the ways of the light by reading human texts, learning the human way of the light and they used this example to help explain Troll priests in Cata

No they did Tauren pallys and priests differantly, I was just saying that the first "Priest" troll was in a comic where they discovered him in a abandoned church reading holy texts. The paladins tested him and the Holy Light did indeed fill the troll.

May I? Thankyou. To put it simple their are 2 types of Loa. the first are wild gods, usually the "lesser" wild gods. All wild gods are called Loa by the Troll people, they just are. The second more mysterious loa are the loa that look like trolls. And here is why, Loa are powerful troll spirits that died and have gained power within the Shadowlands which is the Troll afterlife. the shadowlands isnt necessarily a bad place, especially if you are a powerful troll. How a troll becomes a loa is yet to be revealed but they could do something with Vol'jin in the coming expansion

I loved that questline it was so epic, when you searched the ancient tombs, and then flew with a ballon over to the shore and saw the trolls boarding in, and everything else. It was one of my favorite questlines so far.

Devon Brown Yeah would be cool, although I can see people complaining about trolls in every expansion patch already. But even though they are kind of evil I do feel a bit sorry for them as they did lose their empire and their homes.

You have a tendency to ramble and repeat yourself when talking about stuff. Perhaps writing a script would be helpful? Also for the lore video I suggest you fly around troll villages and record some cool shots. Keep up the good work!

Thanks so much for the feedback as I always appreciate this type of positive feedback. I heard about it before and I'm working on it, but it's not really that easy. I have a script ready for it sort of bullet pointed but I don't want to just read straight of it as it would sound kind of worse, but yeah I get what you mean. Also, I did kind of record the troll stuff but I wanted to get a few different shots as the fly throughs are getting a bit boring, well at least in my opinion.

+Doronsmovies you say both the trolls and loas were around in pre-titan times, which old god do you think the loas served cause I find it hard to believe the old gods would just let this primitive race do their own thing.

They definitely did not serve the old gods. The insectoid races and the Trolls have been at war for... basically forever. The Loa and the Trolls were the original protectors of Azeroth, but they didn't really understand the severity of the situation.

As of BFA the Zandalari were never destroyed. That battalion on the thunder isle were just a small faction of Zandalari given to Prophet Zul by King Rastakhan. Zul took this little army of his, given to him by the Troll king to start his campaign to reunite the remantes of the Troll empires. This video is now out of date and null.

innacurate. Trolls do not pre date titans or keepers. they came to existance after the titans created the keepers to bring order to Azeroth and defeat the Black Empire.

Some questions and possible problems. The Night Elves became trolls by coming in contact with WoE is just a unsubstantiated theory from one book in Wow. Trolls pre-dating Titans? never heard or known that, seed races are post-titan. tx, a good video

The trolls' history is reaching back at least 16,000 years but they don't pre date titans .. was one of the first seedling race..is speculated that tauren was also one of the first races(seedling race aswel.. created by titans to inhabit the new created land) but im maybe wrong.. they might predate titans.. they and the aqir (an insect race..from wich the rest of the insect race evolved.. nerubians, quiraji.and the mantids.''The history of the night elves begins kinda like this: ''A small group of trolls made their way out of the jungles to the well of eternity shores and, as they stared into its waters, sensed a great power.They dedicated themselves to its study, making them strong, wise, and immortal.Their skin turned various shades of violet, and they grew taller in stature.The tribe "adopted" the name Kaldorei, which meant "children of the stars" in their native tongue Their studies of the Well eventually led them to discover arcane magic and, after several ages spent in peace and learning, the Kaldorei grew in power and wisdom then they created civilization whit the well of eternity at his center.. so dark trolls (a different tribe of the jungle trolls) + well of eternity magic= Night elves.. a higher class of night elves who spend much of the time tryng to learn secrets of the well of eternity and delving in arcane magic=high elves .. also high elves +well of eternity implosion+ old god N'zoth = Naga..High elves - (minus) well of eternity+ sun well=Blood elves

Pickle Jaar i know the story mate all i am saying is that its unsubstantiated. Though its more plausible than the Night elf one which says Elune created them, the fact that many other races, like furblogs, and other life forms lived around it and interacted with it didnt evolve or devolve makes the theory a bit questionable. I am just not convinced that out of a 100 species 1 who comes in contact evolves as a different race, it probably has to do with anatomical similarities with the trolls that leads to such theories. For example barnacles are not even close relatives of mussels, but since they are similar anatomically people thought they are closely related. I think the same faulty thought process is in place here.
