Pro tip, when you get a cracked weld split or even a decent hole in your under body tanks, flashing tape, aka tar tape, tac tape works a treat, super easy to put on, flex’s a little too. Looks like a great trip 👍🏻

I cracked a fabricated long range tank on the Gibb too. I used soap to seal the crack then an overcoat of silicon sealer.

Good vid thanks. As with most of these productions, the music spoils them. I just click cc and turn the sound off. I’d rather listen to the same sounds you do whilst travelling. Cheers.

Agree, the music volume is so much louder than the verbal its very annoying. Overall though, youngsters getting out and seeing their country is very pleasing to see. Congratulations, enjoy, and savour.

Okay, I have to ask. Are you guys not cold? I mean, Australia = Southern Hemisphere = South Africa = winter. So, where is your winter woolies?! Enjoy your tour - I love seeing Aus through your lense 🙂
@outbackexplorer41382 жыл бұрын
Ahah thank you Nellene! We are traveling through north Australia, it is very hot even during winter (above 30C most days!). It is tropical and the sun is shining :)

@@outbackexplorer4138 I thought they made things properly. I’ve got one. Only done 11000km with it. I should expect it to leak I suppose.

Good video but you need to equalise the music volume to audio when speaking, music is so loud that you have to keep lowering volume then raising it...
@outbackexplorer41382 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment Isaac! We are working on it :)

The volume difference between the music and the vocals makes for a poor video experience.

You could have just taped up that water tank with some pvc or duct tape, it’s not under a lot of pressure Would have gotten you home

Yes for sure! Though we are only half way on our lap around Aus, we needed to be extra sure it can see us through till home
