I forget not everyone speaks Spanish so I had a " you don't say moment not too long ago" when he said that the island's name means turtle

Seeker Stories That's a pretty misleading title considering it's: a) Not a prison now, nor originally built as a prison. b) There were in fact prisoners housed there, but only in the same regard that you'd house prisoners of war at any military fort.

It was a prison at one time, nothing more irritating then a misleading title.

I've been there a few years ago. It was a long boat ride from Key West. Beautiful marine life, and a very interesting fort. It was interesting how parts of it still feel incomplete to this day, despite becoming a prison.

So far i've discovered prisons on abandoned island. 1) Pulau Jerejak, Penang, Malaysia 2) Alcatraz 3) Dry Tortugas 4) Croation Prison in England If you know other prisons on the islands, please share with me. Thank you :)

I am related to Dr. Mudd via my Fathers side of the family. I remember as a child visiting The Mudds as my parents called them, when we would travel to Sacramento,CA during the summer. I think I was around maybe 13yrs old the last time I saw them.12 cousins in one family.
